My muscles felt sore as I stretched in bed; the soft sheets tangled between my bare legs as I lay here on my front, my face pressed against the pillow.

The warm sunlight peaked through the silk curtains, hitting my legs as the sun streak itself seemed to light the whole room up.

I could hear the serene sea out in the distance; it's waves flowing so calmly, the birds singing outside my window, if only I could go visit the beach.

Have my toes disappear in the white, soft sand, let the salty sea water submerge me, to just enjoy a nice day on the beach. Maybe lie on a sunbed as I catch a tan that my brown skin already doesn't need, have a nice cocktail in one hand and a book in the other.

A dream.

I've been here five months... five bloody months in Miami and I haven't once been to the beach. Weird considering we live right opposite it.

Silly me, I'm forgetting -- I'm not trusted, I'm lucky enough if they let me go out into the garden by myself.

I heard a light knock on my door, sighing as I sat up adjusting the spaghetti straps of my silk short gown.

"Yes, I'm awake." I called out, the footsteps retracting from my bedroom as I dropped my head into my hands.

As every day goes by, I start accepting that this is now my life. Being a prisoner to Luis is now my life.

It's weird though, how... normal it feels. It shouldn't but it's been six months since Luis abducted me — well, his right hand man abducted me if we're being specific but only under Luis' instructions.

Now, Luis and I share a weird relationship. We don't really talk much, I'm more like his arm candy to business meetings and private parties. He keeps me well hidden too, not letting the media even acknowledge my existence or the fact he even has 'arm candy' due to the fact he can't risk my family knowing where I am.

My inner business woman is enraged, this lifestyle isn't made for me. I'm living like a housewife. I have led a completely opposite life compared to the last six months.

Though, being a housewife isn't bad — I respect the hell out of women who are housewives, they're the real bosses. But, this lifestyle is not meant for me one bit.

"Another day." I muttered to myself as I got up, ready to start the day by doing nothing.

"Morning," I muttered as I entered the kitchen/dining area, four men sitting around the table as I got the greeting back. "Anyone want coffee?" I asked as I poured myself a cup.

"Yeah." Rafe popped his hand up for a split second and and I nodded.

"Me too." Anthony sent me a smile and I grabbed two more mugs for them.

After giving them their coffees, I sat at the round table, my heels on the edge of the chair as I rested my cup on my bare knees.

"Heads up," Ajax wiped his mouth with a tissue as he spoke, finishing his breakfast. "Boss is back." Fuck my life.

I closed my eyes, internally groaning. "Great." I muttered as I opened them back up, sipping my coffee.

"Yeah, he got back not long ago," Chase told me and I pursed my lips. "He asked for you." I hate it when he comes back from his little business trips.

His presence makes everyone clench up their assholes and as soon as he's gone, the boys are actually willing to have fun.

They watch movies with me, we have pool parties with just us, basically anything fun we do when Luis isn't here.
