5 : The Biggest Pain

As soon as I heard the gunshots, I ran out of my office to see what had happened.

My biggest fear.
The biggest pain.
Someone just grabbed my hurt and stabbed it.

I feel like my soul left my body.

I feel weak.

Everything hurts....

The moment I saw, the love of my life on the floor of my own art gallery surrounded by a puddle of blood.

I got down on my knees next to him feeling so much blame.

This is all my fault....

I grabbed his wrist in hopes to feel a pulse.

But there wasn't one...

And that's when I completely broke down.

Paramedic : Miss......we need to take him.

I grabbed on to Seth not caring about the blood or my surroundings still not being able to control my sobbing.

I screamed as the paramedics tried to pull me away.

I simply don't want to...

Paramedic : Miss......I'm sorry....

That's when three paramedics pulled me away from Seth so they could take him...

I was driving to my penthouse when the radio was interrupted to give some news about a crime that happened at Jaylee's Art Gallery.

I turned my car around and drove back as fast as I could to check on her.

There were a lot of people surrounding the place. A lot of police.

Police : Sir you can't go in-

Bullshit! I went in anyway!

I walked into the gallery and saw Jaylee on the floor crying her eyes out.

I sat down on the floor next to her and gave her the tightest hug to try to give her some comfort.

She laid her head on my chest as she broke down.

Jaylee : I want to die....

I don't think I've ever seen anyone cry this hard in my life. I stroke hair trying to calm her down but it's impossible.
It hit her hard.

Police : Hey....

He bent down to us and looked at Jaylee.

Police : I'm sorry for your loss but we need to keep investigating. I need you two to step out for a second. Again, I'm really sorry. My condolences....
