Family Reunion

Kirito's Pov
They began to board our ship, I got out my sword, Orick looked around, he noticed me and stared at me for a moment "I'm going to assume you're the captain" he walked towards me "where is my son?" He asked, I gave him a confused look "who would your son be?" I asked, he glared at me "Eugeo Zuberg.... where is he?" He asked, I shrugged "I don't know who you're talking about" I answered, he got out a gun "fine, we'll do this the hard way, search the ship!" He yelled "I don't think so! Attack!" I yelled, I began to attack Orick, he put the gun away quickly and got a sword instead, he blocked my movements, I got pushed against the door to my cabin eventually, I locked the door from the outside and pushed him away "what are you hiding in there?!" Orick yelled, I stayed quiet and pushed himto the edge of the ship, he moved to the side as I tried to slash him, we continued fighting, he kept stating at me as if he recognised me, I mean I wouldn't be surprised "Captain Kirito is that right?" He asked, I laughed "yeah why? Are you scared?" I asked, he smirked "no... I've just figured you out" he answered, my eyes widened, he used my shock as an opportunity and pushed me away from him, he got out a gun and went to shoot me but it wasn't working, I looked over at Aiko and smiled at him, he was stopping the gun from working "what the-" Orick looked at Aiko "you have magic on this ship? It's too bad that you only have one since, I have two" he pointed at the two dark mages on his ship, I looked around in a panic, Wraith noticed the mages, he ran towards the other ship and jumped onto it, Tsuki followed him, Ojo ran over to Aiko and they helped each other with casting spells, I continued to fight Orick. He wouldn't stop talking while we fought "I can tell you truly care about my son but does he care for you?" He asked, I rolled my eyes "yeah, probably considering I saved his life, who wouldn't care for somebody who saved their life, besides we have kissed a few times" I answered, he seemed to get more mad "my son would never love another man like you do!" He yelled launching himself towards me, I dodged "interesting, that's not what he said when he was under me" obviously I was kidding but he fell for it, I laughed as he bumped into the wall, he glared back at me, I heard Wraity and Tsuki laughed hide they were fighting "YOU'VE GOT MY RESPECT KIRITO!!!" Wraith yelled, Tsuki kept laughing "that was a lot of damage!!" She yelled, Orick continued to galre at me, then he smiled "you act so cocky as a pirate, it makes sense.... I remember what you were like as a kid" he said, I glared at him in return "Kirito.... such a silly fake name, it's just a mix of your real name, isn't it?" He asked, we continued fighting. How did he figure it out so quickly but Eugeo still hasn't? He pushed me away and ran over to my cabin, I followed him, I got to the door first and pushed him back "Kazuto Kirigaya..... why did you run away?" He asked, I kept fighting him "you know why!" I yelled, I stabbed him in the shoulder "leave before I actually try to kill you" I demanded, he stared at me, he looked around at all of his crew that had already been defeated "fine but I'll be back for my son" he agreed, I took the sword out of his shoulder.

Time Skip
They had left and I was sitting in my cabin on my desk thinking, Aiko was checking on Renly, more like Renly was checking on him, mean while Eugeo was making sure I was ok, he was standing next to the desk "Kirito please talk to me, you've been quiet since they left, please tell me what happened" he requested, I looked at him and sighed "a guy named Orick.... he came here looking for you" I answered, Eugeo seemed shocked "my father?...." he looked down, I stared at him "hey, I kept him away from you, you're ok" I ruffled his hair smiling a bit, he looked at me "how did you know that I don't want to go with him?" He asked, I laughed "it's obvious you hate your home life" I answered, he nodded "fair enough" he looked at the small patch of blood on my shirt, I wasn't wearing my jacket so it was easier to see and I mean there is a hole in that part of the shirt now. He sighed and stood up, he got a small medical box, he got out a small cotton ball and put a bit of alcohol on it, he looked at me "take your shirt off" he requested, I smirked at him, he noticed and smacked me in the head "so that I can clean the wound dumbass!!" He yelled, I laughed while taking my shirt off, he cleaned the wound with the cotton ball, then he got a needle and thread, he put some alcohol on the needle and then began to stitch up the wound, I just stared at him, it did hurt but this happened often, by this I mean me getting a big wound. I stated at him longer "your surprisingly good at this" I commented, he smiled a bit as if he remembered something that made him happy "my childhood friend Kazuto used to sneak into my room through the window with random wounds from falling over on sharp rocks or falling from a tree" he laughed a bit, I smiled at him, he still remembers that? he sighed sadly "sometimes they were caused by his parents.... anyway I would normally be the one to clean and stitch up the really big cuts" he explained, I decided to question him more about what he remembers "what was your friend like?" I asked, Eugeo looked at me "why do you want to know?" He asked, I shrugged "I'm a curious person, just like you were curious to see me without my shirt" he pulled the wound closed "ouch!" We both went quiet for a second then laughed, he began to put a bandage around my stomach "well... he was my best friend.... we always used to play together whenever we could, we both loved the idea of sailing, infact he got me my first book on sailing, whenever we visited the seaside we would point out all of the gorgeous ships to each other.... one day we-" he paused for a moment looking sad "we went to an event with our parents.... and we danced together, like a man and a woman would, neither of our parents likes that so they separated us for weeks.... for me it was weeks of being miserable.... when we saw each other again, it was when we were told that we would be marrying each other's sisters" he finished with the bandages, I listened to him as if I didn't already know the story, he put the box away and sat next to me on the desk "that day, he made a promise that if he ever disappeared.... he would come back for me and take me away from that awful life" he even still remembers the promise? "At first I thought he was being ridiculous but the next day he-.... he disappeared" tears filled Eugeo's eyes, I felt like telling him that I'm right here but I didn't "I waited for him to come back.... in fact...." he fiddled with his fingers "I'm still waiting...." he added, I was shocked, after all this time.... he still hasn't given up on me? I wiped away the tears that began falling from his eyes, he looked at me a bit shocked, he wiped away the rest of the tears "s-sorry for dumping all of that on you.... I shouldn't have" he got up, I grabbed his hand and pulled him into a hug "it's ok Eugeo.... I imagine you've never been able to talk about that with anyone.... I'm glad you told me" I whispered, he hesitantly hugged me back "thankyou....." he whispered. I kept thinking about telling him the truth, he'll find out eventually, yeah maybe I should "e-Eugeo I should tell you-" the door burst open, Eugeo and I pulled apart "Captain! Renly has collapsed and he's not waking up!!" Klein yelled, my eyes widened, Eugeo and I looked at each other, I put my shirt on and walked outside holding my coat, Eugeo followed me, a group of people were standing around the unconscious elf, I shoved past then and to Renly, Eugeo did the same, Aiko was holding Renly in his arms, he had his eyes closed and his forehead was pressed against Renly's, he opened his eyes and looked at me "there is a sleeping curse on him, I don't know how it happened but.... it has to be somebody on this ship, the navy was gone ages ago and he only just collapsed" Aiko explained, I nodded "I understand.... everyone on this ship who has magic is a suspect.... that includes me" I told him, he looked up at me shocked "I'm not saying that I did it.... but if you want to investigate me as well, I believe it is for the best" I explained, he smiled slightly. I looked at the crew "what are you all doing? We need to give him some space!" I yelled, everyone moved away, I rolled my eyes "let's get him into a proper bed" I said, Aiko picked up Renly bridal style, I lead him into my cabin and into my room "put him here" I pointed at the bed, Aiko put Renly down. The elf just layed there sleeping, Eugeo stared at the elf sympathetically, I looked at Aiko who just sat beside the bed watching Renly. I looked at Eugeo again "come on, let's leave them be" Eugeo and I left the room. We both sat on the desk again in silence "so.... what did you want to tell me before?" Eugeo asked, I remembered what he was talking about "u-um... nevermind it was nothing, just a question about Kazuto" I answered, he nodded "oh...." he mumbled, we stayed quiet again "do you think that Aiko has a thing for Renly?" Eugeo asked, I nodded "definitely.... you come from a well lived family yet you are completely open to the idea of gay love.... why is that?" I asked, he rubbed his head "personally, I never saw a problem with it, I mean.... it's just love right?" He answered, I nodded "this is why I like you cutie" I responded while I moved my face closer to his, he looked at me with a small smirk "my name is Eugeo and are you that desperate for a kiss that you get your face close to mine every two seconds" he pushed my face away, I laughed "no I just like looking at your cute face up close Yuji" I answered, he stared at me a bit shocked, I gave a confused look "what?" I asked, he shook his head and looked away "i-it's nothing..... just.... Kazuto used to call me that" he answered, oh so he remembers that too, awesome but why doesn't he remember what I look like? sure I'm older but I still sort of look the same "do you remember what he looks like?" I asked, Eugeo frowned "no.... after he disappeared, my parents kept me in the house for a while, until the situation passed, it took years, of course I still went to parties but there wasn't a single picture of him that I was ever able to see.... after a while I forgot what he looked like" he answered, that explains a lot. I put my hand on top of his "I'm sure he's still out there somewhere.... just waiting to come get you" I reassured, he nodded "thanks..." he responded, I know he did keep his promise, that's why I was in rulid in the first place, to get Eugeo, then I realised I was kinda scared to tell him. Wraith and Tsuki walked in uninvited "we have to settle this, I believe that you two didn't actually 'sleep together' last night if you know what I mean and Tsuki thinks you did.... so did you?" Wraith asked straight up without hesitation, Eugeo turned into a tomato "n-no! We didn't do anything! Kirito just got me to go to bed!!" He yelled, I nodded "he's telling the truth, nothing happened between us" I added, Wraith looked at Tsuki and held out his hand, she passed him a bag of money, Eugeo seemed absolutely shocked "YOU WERE BETTING ON US?!" He yelled, I rolled my eyes "of course they were" I mumbled, Eugeo looked like he would explode from embarrassment any second now.
