Her foot bounced as she waited for a certain pink haired girl to return. Voraati turned her head to see Powder already fast asleep with a coloring stick in her hand. She smiled watching the little girl sleep so peacefully. It was rare for her to see Powder like this considering she also often struggled with night terrors just like herself. Voraati sat up from her laid back position on Powder's bed and grabbed a blanket that was bunched up on the corner. She pulled the coloring stick from Powder's hand and laid the blanket across the little girl's body. Powder mumbled in her sleep and turned about as she did so. Voraati decided she needed a bit of fresh air -as fresh as you can get from down in the Undercity- and she walked out into the hallway just outside the door. The stuffy room head given her a slight headache which made her question how the group managed to live in there for so many years. With a sigh she relaxed her back onto the wall behind her and crossed her arms putting her head down in thought. Vi was just a friend to her so, it didn't really make any sense to her why she was feeling this way around her all the sudden. It was then it occurred to her.
That moment in the apartment, when they stared into each other's eyes. The way Vi sat atop of her and hid her head in her neck. Thinking about it now still brought a blush to her cheeks. It was then she knew why she was having these feelings but not what it was exactly. Never had she ever felt like this before in her life. Growing up Vora always thought that she was to live alone and grow her own business. But this was something else that had never occurred to her before. All her life she had no interest in anybody and now all the sudden she's a blushing mess around this one girl. It confused her so much she had to sit down against the wall, her eyebrows furrowed in concentration. She was so lost in her own train of thought that she didn't notice the footsteps that approached her.
"Vora?"
Jolting her head up startled she flinched away only to realize it was the girl she had been waiting for all night. Her face relaxed and she let her arms down and stood up. " Vi, I wasn't expecting you back so soon." she spoke in a soft tone. "Yeah, it wasn't too long a lecture." The pinkett chuckled rubbing the back of her neck. Vi opened her mouth to speak but was interrupted by Vora. "I wanted to ask you something, if it's alright with you. I wanted to speak maybe, outside?" She could see the curiosity and worry make its way onto Vi's face as she nodded. Grabbing Vi by her hand and pull her up the steps and to the back of The Last Drop and to the back of an alley way where all the garbage was thrown. Vora let go of Vi's hand gently and began her climb up the side of the uneven brick wall using a conveniently placed piped on the side of the building to continue up. With a grunt the lavender girl pulled herself to the top of the roof with Vi coming up shortly after.
"We could have just taken the stairs." Vi deadpanned. "Yes, but that isn't as fun." Vora replied smugly and Vi chuckled. They walked close to the edge now being able to see the entire city plus, Piltover. Vora nervously turned to Vi and grabbed her hand. "I wanted to ask you about," she paused not exactly knowing how to go about asking Vi about her feelings. " I have been having these weird um, feelings." Vora took her hand from Vi's and gestured to the air. Red quickly set in on her face and she tried to cover it by putting her head down but the wind was not doing her any favors. With a shaky breath she continued, "When we were in the apartment in Piltover, you chased me down the hall and we... fell over." She took another pause, it was a lot harder than she had thought this to be. " When you looked into my eyes I just- got this feeling that I couldn't describe. It was something I hadn't felt before." She pulled her hands together and twirled her thumbs around. "So, I guess my question is, do you know what that means?" Vora finally had the courage to look up but that got immediately crushed seeing the look on Vi's face. It looked like she was about to laugh in her face and tell her how stupid she is for not knowing her own emotions.
"I- I'm sorry, I didn't mean-"
She rushed out but was silenced by Vi grabbing both her shoulders with her hands. "So, you're saying that you like me." It was more a statement than a question. The smile on her face seemed unwavering. This was far from how she was expecting Vi to react. Collecting her composure she responded.
"I don't know- I mean, no- I don't know what that means." Vora's ego was quickly being cut down. This interaction alone was causing so much discourse in the poor girl's mind it was hard to make sense of anything that was happening. "It means that you, Voraati, like me, Vi." Vi pointed to her chest with her thumb having that same smug tone in her voice. It made Vora want to run away and hide her face from everyone. "But I don't understand how that means that I-" she was cut off by Vi laughing at her. Frustration and annoyance quickly set in. "Hey, don't laugh at me! I'm being serious." Vora pouted.
