Once she had lead the two to her apartment, she allowed them inside by leaving the door open and not bothering to shut it. Limping with help of the wall she made her way to her bathroom- droplets of blood falling onto the hard wood floors. Voraati tried to crouch down to open the cabinet under the sink, pain shot through her forcing her to let out a pained gasp. Straightening her back she paused for a moment to swallow her pride. She had to ask Caitlyn for help if she wanted to not bleed out in her own apartment.

"Hey... Piltie! I need you to get the emergency aid kit." Shs cringed as she called out for the blue headed woman from Topside. Caitlyn appeared from around the corner, standing by the doorframe. Voraati motioned her head to the sink. "Under the sink." Caitlyn huffed and narrowed her eyes before opening the cabinet and snatching the kit, harshly shutting the old wooden door shut with a creak. She shoved the kit into the wounded woman's hands. With a grunt Voraati held it with her only free arm and limped her way out of the bathroom and into the living room, to the couch. She saw Vi who sat there, arm loosely on her stomach and the other limp by her side- blinking in and out of consciousness. Her brows furrowed up in worry as she hurriedly made her way beside Vi. She opened the kit and there laid 3 small vials of concentrated shimmer. She took one out and popped the cork quickly downing the bitter substance. She felt the shimmer make it's way through her body. As it settled she felt her pain lessen and began to feel more energized. Grabbing another vial she took the cork and popped it raising to Vi's lips. But before she could tip it into her mouth- her wrist was grabbed roughly pulling it away. Snapping her eyes up to the person who grabbed her she let out a repressed sigh.

"I'm trying to save her life, topsider." Voraati gazed at her with bored half lidded eyes. "Do you even know what that does to people!?" Caitlyn exasperated. "Yes, I do. That's why I'm giving it to her... Now if you'd let go-" She attempted to tug her arm away but to no avail.

"How do I know if can I trust you?" Caitlyn snapped. Finally letting go of her wrist and crossing her arms. "Because she does." Voraati replied nodding her head toward the pink haired woman, who was bleeding out on her couch. Caitlyn huffed and sat down on the table before the two, keeping a close eye on them. Voraati again, raised the vial to Vi's lips and tipped it into her mouth. Gently holding her jaw closed as she swallowed. Vi shot forward- the effects of the shimmer spreading through her body like wildfire. Both Caitlyn and Voraati held her back from lunging off the couch and onto the floor. Vi panted heavily as she calmed down and took in her surroundings. The second she saw Voraati holding her arm- she flinched away. The lavender girl's eyes softened with hurt yet her face held an aura of understanding.

"We need to get going." Caitlyn stated sitting up from her position on the couch beside Vi. "No." Voraati blurted out. Pausing to think of a quick excuse she continued. "Vi needs rest. Her wound is still tender and sore. Shimmer works wonders but it doesn't work miracles." It wasn't quite a lie but it wasn't quite the truth. In all realness Voraati wanted Vi to stay- to not leave her again. This would be her only chance to know what happened all those years ago. Where she went had been a question on her mind for the past 6 years and, she can now have it be answered in full.

"It's fine, we'll be able to stay for the night." Vi commented, the tight feeling in Voraati's chest was released and she could finally relax her tense shoulders. "My bed is big enough for the two of you to sleep on, I can take the couch." She said awkwardly. She didn't like the idea of them sharing a bed but it would be better than Vi sleeping on the floor. She could tell that the pinkette was still the type of person to put people before herself, some things never change. They nodded and headed to her room but right as Vi turned to leave her named was called out. She paused moving her gaze to meet the familiar and nostalgic pale green eyes she knew all too well.

"Can we talk?" Voraati asked hopefully. Her hands wrung themselves together, nerves getting the best of her. "There's nothing to talk about." Vi said. Her tone was cold and unwelcoming but she wouldn't back down, not now. "So the last 6 years just- didn't happen?" She snapped back. Vi sighed and turned her body to fully face her. "What would we even talk about, huh?" The pink brawler gestured her hand to her childhood friend. "Well I-" Vi continued ignoring her completely. "Like how you let Powder leave. And how you were slobbering all over, Sevika!" Her voice boomed and bounced from the walls. It didn't help that her apartment was as small as it was. "I can explain!" She tried to defend herself to no avail. "Don't bullshit me, Vora." Voraati gave out a loud sigh. She slowly moved to grab Vi's old jacket that used to be under her bunk with Powder. "Here." She held out the leather to Vi. "I never left Powder." She could see the pinkette's eyes water as she tried to blink the wetness away. Vi gently moved the red leather jacket from her hold, caressing it with both of her cloth covered hands. "I never meant for any of this to happen." Voraati spoke softly. "Well it did. And if giving me this old thing back was an apology," Vi paused dropping her hands to her sides and holding the jacket in a firm grip. "Then it's a shit one." The green eyed girl's face fell only slightly at her harsh words. To be fair Vi was right to an extent, it was not an apology. "It wasn't. But-" she sighed. "I want to fix this, fix... Us." She played with the sleeves on her shirt, fumbling with the patchy fabric. "You cant fix this. There's nothing, nothing. There to fix."
