it all started with a dare of spin the bottle I wasn't even supposed to be in.
you and Peter are dating in this, and he lives in shadyside so he goes to your school.

as I walk past deenas room, Hey by the pixies is playing so I sing along, I hear it all the time when Sam, deenas girlfriend comes over so I expected that's who was in deenas room.

as I slowly knock on the door, I then open it.

"uh Deena, did you borrow my jeans? I was gonna go out but I need my jeans-" I say looking up from the floor and being greeted with a large group of people.

"uh, yeah yknow what I'm just gonna go, have fun. give me my jeans back later." I say to the group of people surrounding the bottle.

"no wait y/n! come and join us." Deena pleads.

"I probably shouldn't-" I argue.

"y/n, please." Deena begs.

I shrug my shoulders and step into deenas room, closing the door behind me

"this is my sibling." Deena introduces me.

I've seen the group of people around before, just never spoke to them.

"take a seat next to Sam and Kate, you know Sam." Deena says smiling.

"okay?" I say confused, walking to Sam and taking a seat between her and the fairly pretty girl beside her.

"I'm Kate." she says as I sit down.
and then everyone in the circle says their name.

Kate.
Simon.
Heather.
Ryan.
Deena.
Sam.
and then me.

"were playing spin the bottle if you wanna join." Sam tells me.

"but I don't know anyone here-" I begin.

"that's what makes it exciting." Kate says from behind me.

I feel a little bit of excitement rush through my body.

"I guess I will then." I say and a few people cheer.

"well uh, Ryan you can go first." the boy named Simon says.

Ryan spins and I watch as the bottle goes round and round, before landing on Kate.

I smile a little bit as I look at Kate, mainly because Simon was staring at me.

Kate and Ryan both lean in and kiss.

the game is basic but nerve wracking.

and then, Kate spins.

it lands on Deena.

they both kiss and sams face flashes with jealousy.

Deena spins and it lands my head.

I shake my head.

"no fucking way!" I exclaim.

everyone laughs so I spin.

as the bottle goes round and round, it comes to a hault on Simon.

my jaw drops slightly as Simon sits forward, coming slightly closer to me as Kate leans back.
I also lean in.

he's just a stranger.
we'll never meet again.
or speak.
and it won't mean anything.

although he is kinda handsome I will admit.

and then we kiss, he traces a hand to my cheek before we break apart..

I could tell Deena was smiling at my bright red face when Simon spins and it lands on me.
