A young girl stood in front of a shiny Umbreon, behind it, was and Absol and behind him was a normal Umbreon. She wondered what happened to make the Pokemon suddenly appear, but Flower was hiding behind her jeans and couldn’t ask her.
“Cindy! Cindy where are you?” a voice called out from the forest.
“Mom! Mom, come here!” she called back.
Bushes rustled and her Mom appeared a second later with Violet behind her. Baron came up behind the three dark type Pokemon and she pointed at the three, but her mom didn’t notice her. She was already looking at the Pokemon.
The shiny Umbreon shook her head the same time her Mom did and she crouched down to face the Umbreon head on. Her Mom duck waddled closer to the three and the normal Umbreon grew a little frightened.
“Um… bre?” he asked the Absol.
“Sol…” the white Pokemon whispered urgently.
Her Mom touched the shiny Umbreon’s head, the dark type not moving except for tears running down her cheeks. “Leila.” she said calmly.
“Breeeee.” the shiny Pokemon said.
She got up and motioned to Baron to get out from behind the three. The Houndoom nodded and walked around them, standing beside Violet.
“Mom? What did you say?” the girl asked.
“Leila, Cindy.” she replied.
“Bre?” the shiny Umbreon asked.
Turning to Leila, her Mom said softly, “Leila, come on. You’ve missed a lot. I need to start explaining…”
“Sol?” the Absol asked.
“Yes, Moon, you too. And the newer one. Haven’t seen him before.” her Mom said, pointing to the normal Umbreon.
“Um. Bre. Umbre.” the Umbreon said silently.
“Nice to meet you, Dark.” she smiled.
“Mom! What are you talking about? I hate it how you understand Pokemon…” Cindy muttered.
“I’ll explain, Cindy. We’re going home with these Pokemon and I’ll start talking, okay?”
“Okay…”
Cindy and her mom walked past Violet and Baron who followed at the end. The three dark type Pokemon were following, yawning as the sun came up. Mom led the way until a house came into view.
It was in the middle of the woods, looking nearly brand new. Some berry bushes sat on either side of the stairs that led up to the front porch. Cindy and her mom walked up it and into the house. Mom kept the door open for the Pokemon.
Leila then Moon, Dark then Violet. Baron looked at his trainer.
“How do you think she found us?” the Houndoom asked.
“No idea.” she whispered, staring inside.
“What are we going to do this time? Natalie?”
“I think this time, I’ll let Leila decide…” Natalie replied, closing the door as Baron finally walked in.
“What about Cindy? She should be starting her Pokemon journey soon now Flower’s with her.” Baron sighed.
Natalie sighed and shook her head. She and Baron, followed by the Pokemon and Cindy, walked into the living room and sat on the couch. Baron sat down on at the ground in front of the couch, Cindy by her mom and the other Pokemon in front of the couch facing Natalie and Cindy.
