When Ted arrived we immediately drove to the carnival,after parking the car(that I now found out was his dad's)we held hands and walked to the entrance of the carnival.they handed us bracelets that allowed us to go on rides,"I got a bunch of quarters,so we can win any prize you want!"he said happily as he showed me all of the quarters in the pocket of his orange jacket.as we held hands and walked around the carnival Ted gasped,"what is it?"I asked curiously.he pointed at a carnival game,one of the prizes was a navy blue guitar with paint splattered on it.Ted's eyes shimmered in the moonlight,I could immediately tell he wanted it.

I grabbed some quarters from his pocket and walked towards the stand,"Sarah Lynn said up!"Ted called out for me as he followed me.i placed the quarters on the stand and looked at the guy,"how to I win the guitar?"I asked confidently.Ted stood behind me,"well if you wanna win that all you gotta do is pop 3 balloons."the carney said.i pushed the quarters towards him,"I'll do it."i said confidently.he handed me three darts,i repositioned my glasses and eyed the balloons.i held the first dart,I locked my eyes on a green balloon."steady now Sarah Lynn..."I thought to myself,I can't mess up.I threw the first dart,the green balloon popped.Ted and I both widened our eyes,"woah..."Ted whispered.i concentrated again and eyes the balloons,I held the second dart and locked my eyes on the blue balloon.i threw the second dart,the blue balloon popped.

People were now cheering,sweat dripped down my forehead.my anxiety was slowly coming back,I shook my head."no...I gotta do this:for Ted."I thought as I held the third dart,I threw the last dart and popped the yellow balloon I locked my eyes on.everyone cheered and clapped,"we have a winner!"the carney said.he handed me the guitar,I handed it to Ted."you're we-"he then kissed me,I melted into the kiss.we stared at each other,my glasses were starting to get foggy."you're the best girlfriend a dude like me could ask for Sarah Lynn."he said,I blushed and smiled.
