Chapter Six - Truth lies beneath.

- Time Skip to Several Years Later -

"So you want us to be a whole team for what exactly?" Zane said, he leaned back into his chair. He was a billionaire, playboy, ignorant, and stubborn guy. He didn't care about anyone else except himself.

The guy beside him punched his shoulder and rolled his eyes at him. That guy was Liam, a specialist in combat. He uses the abilities that he was born with to break through walls, crush people, and etc.

The doors opened to the room and a guy walked in, holding some files and set them down in front of the table. 

"To find this artifact that will kill everyone on earth. We have to find and secure it." He said and looked at Zane. 

"Well, clearly we need more members." Liam said and looked at the guy, who hummed. "Already on that. We've found some more people, 5 to be exact. Most of them have super abilities. Yet, one is just another scientist I found. He can help you out in the lab Zane. He's a great guy. They will be here any second now." Just as he said that, the group of people walked in and greeted the leader. "Glad you all could make it! Now, I've suppose you've all met each other. If you haven't then, well it's your time to shine." He said and grabbed the files that were set on the table earlier.

The rest of the members greeted each other and introduced themselves. 

A guy came running in and went to the leader. "Sir, we have detected an odd amount of energy and lighting crashing down to the surface. The thing is, they landed 30 miles from here." He said and everyone else looked up at him. "Alright, locate where it landed and we'll go and see." 

"Yes, sir." He said and ran off again out of the room. 

"Ladies and Gentlemen I think we may have found the source. Let's go." He said as everyone got up and went to get ready.

The cars drove up to the location. Everyone got up, geared up, and looked around. "You sure, this is the right place, because I mean, there's nothing here, Cap." Zane said and looked at him. 

Cap, the leader of the group, looked at him and looked back at the symbol on the ground. It looked like it was carved in. A relac perhaps?

"That's just a shape. Literally, it's just a triangle. This has got to be some joke. We're wasting our time here." Zane said only to be hushed by everyone else. He stayed quiet and looked at the symbol.

A beam of light appeared from the sky, hitting the symbol. The symbol glew white then green. Everyone got away and covered their eyes, from the intense gust of wind, dust and dirt flew into the air blinding everyone.

The beam eventually disappeared, crawling into the sky, and creeping to the darken clouds above. "What if this turns about to be a alien who wants to destroy us all?" A guy said to the Cap. He only focused on the mysterious mist, coming out of the ground and his eyes went wide when he saw something move inside the mist.

"Who's there?" Cap said and made his gun appear in his hand, aiming at the thing moving.

The thing stood up, taking the shape of a tall figure. It swayed side by side, and moved forward, in a odd, jerking way. Cap yelled, "Stay still, or i'll shoot!"

The figure didn't stop. It fell to the ground and made a groaning noise. Cap put his gun away realizing the figure was human, probably and he made the others call for help. They did so and went off into the car, to get some help. He went up to the figure slowly, the mist was still in the air. He kneeled down and looked down at the figure.

The figure opened its eyes and tackled the Cap down, they rolled away from the mist. Cap struggled and attempted to grab the things hands, only to be choked. The thing got on him, and started to choke him. The Cap looked at the thing and his eyes went wide. "S-stop! It's me!" He yelled and grabbed the figures wrists.
