Karl was sitting on the floor with a piece of chalk in his hand, "I had seen summoning a demon as something more interesting" Sapnap said standing next to Karl "we're not summoning a demon Sapnap, we are doing real word magic" Karl said as he finished off the summoning circle and cleaned the chalk of off his hands. "So how many ghost laws are we breaking?" Quackity asked standing near Sapnap "457 in total" Sapnap looked at Quackity "y'all have laws?" The shortest of Raveonettes asked, Karl, swayed his head side to side "more of unwritten rules but yes... laws most of them are about not fucking with the 'alive people world'" Sapnap was left even more confused "Is this not the living world then?" Karl thought for a second and stood up "yes but no-, the border between the living world and the beyond is fluid, we are in that border right now, it mixes with the alive world and the beyond and we are like on the 'border'"
"Okay- and what is this spell we're doing?" Quackity asked as Karl stepped out of the circle "we're just slowing down time a bit-" Sapnap looked baffled "there is a chance you'll brain feel foggy for a second but that's normal" Karl stepped back reached his hands over the sigil and as it started to glow a fluorescent purple Karl grabbed a ring off his finger and dropped it to the floor, instead of hearing a tiny clang Quackity and Sapnap looked like the piece of jewelry slowly fell to the floor. When the ring was halfway there Karl clapped in his hands "Alright that's enough-" even though not much changed Sapnap stumbled "wow-" he said as he regained his balance, "Okay so- where do we start?" Quackity asked looking at Karl who just smiled, "I have an idea-" so it was decided, Quackity and Karl worked day and night on teaching Sapnap at least the basics of magic, then they went on the more creative things, "Alright Sapnap hit me" Karl said standing in the living room, Sapnap had a flame burning on top of his hands "Are you sure?" Sapnap asked again "It's not like your gonna kill him Sapnap," Quackity said joking sitting on the couch throwing a blue bouncy ball up and down Sapnap rolled his eyes before throwing the flame at Karl who just stood there. The flame was maybe an inch away from him as it suddenly turned into small purple butterflies. "Karl clapped his hands as those exact butterflies turned into a purple flame and so they went back and forth playing dodgeball with actual fire.
They practiced like this for the rest of the day and even late into the night until they felt ready, well ready was a lot to say, until they had accepted that they needed to save ghosts from extinction as soon as they woke up, but what if the danger was coming to them, what if it was headed for the shop at this point, and the 'laws' of reality were just mere burdens for them to break, they didn't know what they were, they didn't know who they were meant to be, but they were going to do everything they could do to make the world safe for them and their lover. And what if the being didn't only have the power of his lover, his mind but also the powers of the many spirits that had resided on the farm, if Karl had known that, he would have sympathized with Drista, the poor teenager had lost her brother ones, and Karl couldn't think what it would feel like to lose him again.
But that was only if the demon was headed for them, but that is highly unlikely to happen and the chances of this being foreshadowing are very slim. So as Karl sat in his study working on his latest restoration piece, Sapnap slept in his bedroom, the being was not on its way to ruin the universe and was still very busy on the farm.
Well- not necessarily. With chances being as slim as a strand of hair, it sadly enough got the upper hand on the property. And with that, all deceased inhabitants had been sadly taken by the demon, even Dream. Drista had tried to do the exorcism herself. Eret had found the time to explain it to her but it was too late, Dream had been captured and just like Eret, just like Nikki and Ponk, he was taken by the demon on it's spree of madness. And so they went on, over the street, under the cover of darkness they traveled along the road, they could feel strong powers pumping through their blood. It felt almost addicting, it wanted more, it needed more. The world was about to change, it was going to change for the better, gone with all the pain, gone with everything that could hurt his lover's feelings. Every demon has their punishment to si out, their curses to spend the rest of their undeadness with, their lover got... a temper, a sane person would call them murderous, the tiniest emotion of pity and they go out of their way to take it all away, sometimes with screaming, sometimes with a knife to stab with. And to the evil upstairs and the good down, the demon loved their lover, and their lover loved the demon. the demon would set galaxies on fire just for them. He would wipe out the entire population of ghosts... and that is what it is going to do, and it would do it all over again.
{It's going down nanana~ I don't know the lyrics but yeah kinda forshadowing}
