Alice sat quietly at Sam's table, trying to comprehend what she was just told. Her father and Sam sat across from her, while Leah sat next to her. Alice stared at the table, completely lost in her own thoughts. This had to be a prank, there is no way that werewolves were real, and her best friend just happened to be one. Alice slowly stood up from her seat and walked towards the door, "I need a minute," she softly spoke.
Alice slowly shuffled out the door, taking a seat on the porch swing. Millions of thoughts raced through her mind. She had always enjoyed hearing stories of creatures like werewolves, vampires, fairies, etcetera. But that's all they ever were to her, stories. She never imagined that those stories could be real.
Alice was so lost in her own thoughts that she didn't hear the front door open. The person took a seat next to her on the swing. Alice turned her head to see Emily smiling kindly at her. "I know it's a lot to take in," Emily spoke, "When I first found out about this world I was in shock, I refused to talk to anybody for days. But you have to remember, they are still the same people, who just happen to turn into a giant wolf."
Alice let out a giggle at Emily's words, "Thank you Emily,"
Emily smiled, "It's my pleasure," she spoke while pulling Alice in for a hug.

~ This is just a short filler chapter. I wanted to put in how Alice feels about all of the supernatural world, and I wanted Emily to kinda help her through it. Anyways, I'm sorry if I don't update for a while. I hurt my wrist and have to have surgery on it, and on top of that my entire family is sick.
