I thought you loved me

~ Cisco's POV ~
"Long story short, I ran back in time, stopped Reverse Flash from killing my mom, lived in an alternate timeline, then set things back to how it was, but when I came back, things weren't exactly the same". Barry admitted
"You mean the people", replied Caitlin
"That's why you wanted my dad and I to start talking again so badly", Iris said as she tried holding back tears from her eyes.
"Yeah, exactly", Barry said, also tearing up
"So you thought it was okay to change things when someone in your family dies, but if it's someone in my family", I blurted out, leaving the room to go to my workshop
"Cisco-" Barry yelled

~ Cisco's POV ~

"Hey", Barry said, coming into my workshop, "What're you workin' on?"
"These are the gauntlets for my suit. Which you probably know nothing about". I said, looking down, avoiding eye contact with him
"I'm really trying here, Cisco"
"Barry I'm the one who's been trying. I've been trying this whole time, to get you to do this one thing for me. You kept saying, 'No, Cisco', 'I can't, Cisco', 'I would never do that, Cisco'"
"We're you even listening?! It went bad, it went really bad-"
"I DON'T CARE", I yelled as I cut Barry off, "At least I'd have my brother back"
"Well, maybe you would have him back, but someone might have something happen to them that's just as awful as what happened to Dante, and trust me, you do not want that on your conscience. It's a heavy burden to bear. And, I don't know how many times I've said this, but I'm really sorry about Dante, Cisco. I love you", Barry said, making me cry a little
"Sorry doesn't change anything. And, just so you know, you and I, we broke up. Ever since Dante died."
Barry froze for a moment, it's like he couldn't believe that we would break up.
"I- Cisco, please. I can't go back, all I can do is move forward. I care about you, a lot, and I don't want us fighting anymore. I really hope you can move forward, too". Barry said, leaving me alone.

      ~ Barry's POV ~
"Hey, Barry!" Joe yelled, as he saw me storming out of Cisco's workshop
"What do you want, Joe? Let me guess, you heard everything Cisco and I said to each other". I screamed
"Yeah, exactly, Barry. I came here to tell you that it wasn't your fault. Just give Cisco some space, he'll come around".
"I'm not so sure he will". I muttered.

     ~ Cisco's POV ~
I lay on my couch, looking at old photos of Barry and I, back when things were good between us. I quickly put my phone away as I heard a loud knock at my door, "it's open!", I yelled. Iris came walking into my living room.
"Hey, Cisco. Just came by to check on you. You're okay, right?", She said, sounding worried
"Yeah, Iris, I'm great".
"Cisco, I'm a reporter, I know when someone's lying. So, please, tell me the truth".
"Fine, Iris! No! I am obviously not okay! My best friend, my boyfriend, well ex, made a completely different timeline, set things back, only to have made a timeline even worse! He killed my brother, Iris!" I yelled angrily
"Cisco, Barry didn't kill your brother, it was an accident. He didn't know setting things back would change things even more. You can't be so hard on him for things he couldn't control". Iris said, as she gave me a hug, "You know, Barry's in the car outside. I could bring him, if you would like".
"Sure, I need to talk to him"

"Hi, Cisco", Barry said, quietly, sounding nervous
"Hey, sit down" I  said. The moment I said that he sat right next to me, holding my hand
"I'm so sorry, Cisco", Barry replied, as he started sobbing like a 5 year old
I gave him a tight hug, and said, "It's okay, Bar, it's okay".
He pulled away, and kissed me. "Oh- I'm so sorry, Cisco, I just, I needed to kiss you-"
I cut him off by kissing his cheek, softly. He ran his fingers through my hair, and smiled at me
"Does this mean we're, like, I don't know, good? Are we together again?"
"Yeah, Bar, we're good", I said, kissing his lips.
