Boundless tears still don't seem an effective way to rid them of the pain they inflicted on each other. The two can't take back the words they threw at each other, can't undo the visible damage at the once shared apartment, and it's physically and mentally excruciatingly painful.

He's sprawled across the bed that he barely leaves. It isn't even his right to stay in the bed all day. The bed belonged to his friend. when he came in and Jacob couldn't deny him. He had never seen his friend so distraught. Usually he'd stay for a day and the two would make up the next morning.

Despite several attempts by himself and his other friends, Jacob couldn't even get either party to tell them what was fully wrong.

The other half of the friend group stepped inside the abandoned apartment, broken glass crunched under their shoes as they took in the scattered clothes and rearranged furniture. They came to the conclusion that a fight had broken out pretty quickly just from their friend's behavior but they came to investigate the incident and the severity.

He confirmed that things had been thrown when they came back from the apartment, he also immediately shut down the hesitant assumptions that they physically hurt each other. They continued to try to pry for more but ended up being shut out.....

They couldn't even ask about the ring they found on the apartment floor. All they knew was by the looks of it......their friend lost the love of his life and this time it was permanently.

"Will you marry me?"

"Sunwoo stop joking, get up"

"What? It's too underwhelming isn't it? I knew I should've asked somewhere nice but you said you wanted it to be priva-"

"I don't want to marry you so soon."

"Oh. I just thought.... well you said you'd probably say yes if I asked you. I've been waiting 4 years-"

"I-I know what I said but I've changed my mind Sunwoo. I want to wait we're still young and I don't think that getting married to me is what you want, it's not a good idea right now."

"What the hell are you talking about? You can't tell me what I do or do not want. How much longer would I have to wait? It doesn't make sense if we both love each other. You're being ridiculous."

"I'm not being ridiculous...I just don't want to make a decision that'll ruin us. I think we have more growing to do as a couple."

"I think you're being scary and unfair."

"Unfair? Don't you think it's a bit unfair for you to be getting upset with me?"

"No. 4 damn years of waiting and I thought you'd be ready by now but all of sudden you think our relationship isn't even deep enough for us to be engaged, where is this coming from?"
