AS A KID, one of the biggest things your mind could dream of is to have super powers— to be a super hero. You ask a kid what their super power would be, and they'd probably say the usual; flying, super-strength or super-speed—anything to make them to be just like their favorite super hero.For some heroes, it is quite the dream— using your amazing abilities to change the world into a better, safer place is a gift. But, for others, using your powerful abilities to try and change the world into the greater-good, doesn't feel like a gift at all.
Juliet— or, Jules— Myers, is your typical sixteen year old girl; loves music, movies, film references, and hanging out with her two best friends Peter Parker and Ned Leeds, and doesn't take crap from others. Usually being pretty reserved from most people, Juliet hates attention from pretty much everybody but her friends.
That's why finding out she has psychokinesis and telepathic abilities on one normal school day fills her with utter dread—and, finds out that one of her best friends, Peter, develops special abilities of his own, like that of a spider. Together, the two teenagers work together to take on their new powers and bad guys coming their way—with super cool secret identities, of course.
But, Juliet soon realizes that having super powers isn't so bright and fun, when her powers begin to overtake her, and, unfortunately, overtakes the life of a loved one.
