Opening the door slowly I bit my lips in anticipation of everyone's reaction. Yoongi turned to see me -"Finally -"
He stops gaping at me with wide eyes , I tuck some strands of my hair behind my ear looking at him -"Is it bad ?"
"What ? No. Of course not. You look really pretty."- Yoongi quickly utters making me laugh. He offers me his elbow which I take before descending downstairs. The others look our way when they hear our footsteps only to drop their jaws. I fiddled with my fingers feeling anxious of their reaction but looked up when I heard someone's voice.
"Y/n-ah...you look so beautiful."
I look up to find him smiling at me , I fasten my steps to hug him as he embraced me with a chuckle.
"I've missed my food buddy."- Jungkook mutters. And I let out a teary chuckle as he leaned back to grin at me.
"When did you come ?"
"Just now." - Jungkook answers.
"Look even the babies liked your outfit. They are giggling."- Hoseok exclaims bouncing Hwan a little in his arms. Hyuk waddles his hands happily hitting Namjoon's face in the process making us all laugh. Jungkook pecks both their heads -"We wanted to meet them as soon as they were born. They are wonderful."
"I know."- I mumble lowly. Jungkook eyes my outfit intently still side hugging me and asking me about it. When the cars started approaching the mansion we all quickly got up preparing to meet them.
"The others will be here in a bit."- Tzuyu announces. I look at Jungkook with a shocked face , he takes my hand to lead me to the garden outside where many big people have gathered for two occasions. One , my birthday and two , mine and Taehyung's wedding anniversary. All the people eyed me curiously mainly because of my choice of outfit for today.
"Enjoy , Y/n. This is your day."- Sana smiles.
"I'll try."- I mutter lowly. I met the important people who all congratulated me. Yoongi always beside my side sensing my hesitance and I was grateful for him.
"Here , take this."- Jungkook says passing me a glass of champagne which I sipped for formality.
"Are you all okay ? Nothing bad happened right ?"- I ask Jungkook and Yoongi who was having their drinks mindlessly.
"You have no idea."- Yoongi utters unfazed by his surrounding.
"It was bad but we overcame it. Jumping into this is one thing and getting out is another. I'd say our mission was a success."- Jungkook said with a bunny smile.
