Chapter 25

"But why ?"

Y/n mutturs eyeing the boys , her face sad and gloomy. Sana and Tzuyu hears Y/n's question then glance at the boys with an apologetic look.

"For more privacy. It's not that we don't have that here or anything but some space in between won't be that bad." - Hoseok explains.

"It's not like we are moving away far from here. We are just adjacent to the mansion. It's not anything you did , okay ?"- Jin confirms.

"Is that what the house building nearby is for ? I thought it was a guest house. Was it already planned ?"- Y/n says sighing. I peck her head to calm her down and she lean on me immediately.

"Yeah. We have two babies with us now. I know the mansion is huge but as the family grows we need more space."- Jimin smiles twirling Hwan with a laugh.

"Who all are going there ?" - I enquired.

"The two couples , their babies , I and Yoongi."- Jungkook fills in , sipping his juice.

I nod as they continue their moving out process , with them being busy I decided to help them. I saw Yoongi side hugging Y/n who glance at him with a scowl.

"Come on now. I am just near you."

Yoongi said with a shrug. Y/n shakes him off before sitting on the couch to watch TV but Yoongi sits beside her.

"At your one call I'd be here."- Yoongi promises and Y/n puts her head on his shoulder closing her eyes. I was fuming in jealousy but I controlled when Jimin shook his head disapprovingly. I understood how important Yoongi hyung was her best friend like Jimin is mine.

Two weeks later

They moved to the a new house just beside us two days back. It's only ten feets apart actually. Y/n was leaning on the balcony viewing the night sky , the light reflecting on her face ever so beautifully. I back hug her startling her.

"What are you thinking about ?"- I asked pecking her shoulder. Y/n sighed leaning back on me , bringing her hand up to caress my face.

"Taehyung ?" - She mumbles softly and I hum.

"You're going to be a dad soon."- Y/n whispers. I take a moment to process the information staying still. Tugging her around I stared at her unblinkingly -"What ?"

Y/n bits her lips looking at me ever so gently massaging the overgrown hair on my nape. I open my mouth at the shock and then shut it again. I tilt my head and she nods smiling.

"Oh...what...? I mean how..? I don't..."

"The last time we did it , I forgot to take the pills. Doesn't mean I regret it though. It just feels new."- Y/n says staring at me waiting for my reaction. I hugged her tight feeling the rush of emotions flowing inside me , it was an amazing feel to be honest.

"I never thought I'd be one."

"You'd be what ? A father ?"- Y/n asks from the crook of my neck.

"Hmm....it was beyond my imagination. But wait , even you are beyond my imagination. For me falling for you and then getting married to you was out of my reach and now this is like a fairy tale. You've no idea how happy I am."

My hands caress her hairs as she pulls back from the hug to look at me. She strokes my jaw only to proceed for a sweet lingering kiss melting me within.

"You want this , right ?"- Y/n asks.

I frown at first but peck her head later -"This isn't even a question. Even though we didn't plan any of this I'm happy to unfold a new chapter in our life."
