"Goddammit... GOD FUCKING DAMMIT!"

Dottore slammed his hand on his desk violently, making a deafening sound that echoed to the other end of the laboratory. How many times had he done this before? It was even considered a phenomenon for the desk to stay intact. The mad scientist snatched his pen and rubbed his hair, rubbing it intensely like he wanted to pull his hair out. His eyes were as red, like bright red, as cherries. His head was a volcano, erupting any second.

"ARRGGH! USELESS!" the man grunted.

He flipped the desk, and along with it fell all of his research papers. The flower vase broke into pieces. The toxic bottle started leaking and ruining the sheets.

Suddenly, the door creaked. Somebody else entered the lab. "What seems to be a problem, sir?"

"BARNABAS! JUST IN TIME!" Dottore replied, "COME, TAKE A LOOK AT THIS."

Barnabas chuckled.

"HUH?! WHAT'S SO FUNNY?!"

Dottore grabbed his own hands. He was furious. His fury was so big it seemed his blood veins could pop any second now.

"Now now," Barnabas replied, "failure is the mother of success, isn't it?"

"Yeah yeah. Sure." Dottore replied in a sarcastic voice. For somebody who had the patience to experiment with 257 people in this research, it was ironic to see him lose his temper and faith in success like this. But it was only temporary, and the mad scientist returned to testing once again after a short while. He rearranged everything, cleaned the broken vase pieces, and managed the toxicity.

Back to researching, Dottore figured it might be because all of his previous test subjects were too vulnerable. It was time to test on somebody more capable. Like a military leader or a Vision holder, just anyone, anyone who could withstand the 'enemy.' A light bulb got turned on.

THAT'S RIGHT! THE TRAVELER!"

Knowing that the Traveler was a high threat to the Fatui and the Tsaritsa, the man knew who to use as a test subject next.
