Third POV:

It was a rainy morning when the rescue team departed from the Kujou Encampment. Lightning flashed, and thunder roared. Although it was not the optimal weather for such a task they were about to do, it still had its advantages. One of them being the Fatui. Due to the heavy rainfall, members of that organization were less likely to be on patrol. That would save them some time and prevent their plan from being exposed. By almost midday, they arrived at the side entrance to the lab.

"Alright," Childe said, "this is it, everyone." "This is our last chance. If we fail again, they definitely would move location and make it harder for us." "Xiangling and I will stay outside and make sure no threat comes near." "Xinyan and Captain Beidou would charge in first, acting as a bait for the 'old man' to deploy all their beasts." "Meanwhile, the Yuheng will secretly enter and find the Traveller and Mr. Zhongli." "Finally, Madam Kujou and the Shogunate would charge inside when Xinyan and Captain Beidou stirred everything up to fend off the monsters. It will also distract the 'old man' and buy some more time for Lady Keqing." "Everyone got that clear?"

Everyone nodded.

"Good. It's time to go!"

As planned, Xinyan and Beidou rushed in from the side entrance.

"Come at me!" both of them shouted.

The sudden scream activated the alarm, and Barnabas appeared right after.

"You still haven't learned your lesson, have you?" Barnabas said mischievously, thinking they would struggle to beat the mutated beasts like last time

"You still haven't learned your lesson, have you?" Barnabas said mischievously, thinking they would struggle to beat the mutated beasts like last time. But he was wrong. The plan was far more complex and structured for success than previously.

Just like expected, he released more mutated beasts from cages nearby.

"Time to rock!"

"Power that ended Haishan!"

The loud noises from both their skills and the Overload reactions made Keqing's footsteps almost imperceptible by the ear. Before anyone could notice, she had swiftly made her way to many rooms. Finally, she found the Traveller, lying seemingly dead on the ground from the multiple injections.

"Speed of light!"

In a blink of an eye, she teleported in and out of the cage, carrying Aether with her.

"Now there's only Zhongli left," she thought to herself.

"Storm the front!" Sara's voice from afar signaled the Shogunate's arrival in the battle.

Due to the lack of time, Keqing decided to carry the Traveller back first. Then, with how much time they might have left, perhaps she could find Zhongli.
