The walls of the room rocket away from you, taking the heroes with them. It's just you and Nezu in an endless space.

The animal turned principal is still staring at you, analyzing you, prodding for a weakness.

Nezu: That is a very bold claim, miss Midoriya.

Y/n: It is indeed. I don't expect you to believe me. Hell, I expect you'll dig even deeper to find something, even though I can guarantee you won't find what you're looking for.

Nezu: I'll be honest, miss Midoriya. It is in equal parts relieving, intriguing and terrifying how open you are about this.

Y/n: Well... I could have told a tragic story about a harsh past I never had, trying to win some sympathy. But you strike me as a.... creature... that's too intelligent to fall for that.

The principal nods thoughtfully, mulling things over. He lift his head from his paws and when he speaks again his voice takes on a more cheerful note.

Nezu: I think we are done here for today, miss. I will allow you to continue attending this school, because if what you say is true, it would be a massive boon to the world. We will, of course, continue our investigation.

He jumps onto his desk and extends a paw, which you take and give a firm shake.

Y/n: Of course, principal. Shall I return the room to it's normal size?

Nezu: If you could.

With a small smile and a rush of air the office reverts to its original size. The heroes, who had been running to try and get to you, suddenly find themselves nearing smashing into each other as the normal proportions return. They all reach for you, but with a wink you teleport out.

You appear next to Izumi, in a very busy train. Your chest presses into her back as you lightly lean unto her.

Izumi: Oh. Excuse me.

Y/n: So polite, Izumi. Don't you recognize me?

She looks over her shoulder and it takes her a good five seconds of staring into your face for her to falteringly give you an answer.

Izumi: Y-Y/n...?

Y/n: So you do recognize me. I knew you would.

Izumi: W-Why do you look like that?

Y/n: What? Don't like it?

Izumi: I'm not saying that! Just... Why are you a girl?

Y/n: Oohhh, well the principal had some questions and Midnight was there and I don't like being unconscious. That's why I'm a girl for now.

Izumi: Do you even need to breathe?

Y/n: No, but they don't need to know that.

You go back and forth for a little longer, slowly shifting your body back to a more androgynous form.

It takes a while longer still for you to arrive at your stop and to make your way back home. The two of you made some small talk, nothing too interesting.

When you arrive at the apartment, you, quite literally, bump into Inko. She's looking a lot more chipper these days, not having to pinch pennies anymore certainly helps.

Inko: Y/n, Izumi! You'll have to tell me all about your first day when I get back. I have to get some more groceries to make tonight's dinner extra special.

Y/n: Alright, see you in a bit.

Izumi: Just don't go too crazy mom, please?

Inko: I'll try sweety.
