It's another day and with it another lesson you don't necessarily need. On today's agenda, combat training, taught by the number 1 hero himself.

Now, it's like you need training or experience, but this does give you a nice opportunity to test the number 1. So you take your suit and change as quickly as possible and are the first one out.

Y/n: So, All Might. Am I correct in assuming the principal has told you about me?

All Might: He has indeed. But claiming to be a god... Even with the incredible power you displayed, is arrogant.

Y/n: Then it'll be up to you to teach me some humility. Might I suggest that you'd be my opponent in this upcoming training?

All Might: Me? But your a student--

Y/n: A student who is very aware of their own strength. The rest of the class is like swatting flies, I wouldn't learn anything from that.

The large man let's out a long sigh, seeing that you obviously won't back down.

All Might: Very well. But we will be going last, perhaps you will learn something from watching your classmates.

When the your classmates trickle in the premise is explained. A simple capture or defend mission based on what team you're assigned to.

When the roles are assigned for the first practice battle, the rest of the class retreats to a bunker from where everything can be witnessed. While Izumi's fight interests you the most, for obvious reasons and because about to start, but learning the powersets for the others is just as important.

Izumi's fight is a spectacle to be sure, but it isn't much beyond that. Flashy powers clashing with each other, their techniques need a lot of work. The only one you can commend in all of the matches is Todoroki. His control is great, freezing a single building in a row and even then only freezing surfaces instead of the entire thing.

As you watch the mock battles progress, you're absentmindedly poking through All Might's thoughts. You've already uncovered his 'secret' identity, it's really a miracle no-one figured it out in his younger years; finding out about him teaching and training Izumi also wasn't hard, it was practically the only thing on his mind during her battle.

You flit through lost loved ones, tragic events, traumatic injuries both old and new; all very sad, sure, but you've seen it all a thousand times over. It's all just information now, weaknesses to exploit and trauma's to trigger for an advantage. You could just beat him in a fight, your own strength would be enough, even without siphoning from you cousin, but that really isn't the point.

To see what the world's best has to offer, how far they might have risen or fallen. To see who, or what people put their faith in.

The mock battles are evaluated, tips are given and, hopefully, taken to heart. Someone stands out to you, Momo Yaoyorozu. She's got a sharp mind, very book-learned, experience will do her good. You'll have to keep an eye on her.

It's finally time for own fight. You've gathered all the intel you need and you got assigned the villain side, so it's time to lay a trap.

You sit in front of the papier-mâché weapon, eyes closed as you expand your consciousness through the building. It's a trivial matter to scramble the lay-out of the building and make a labyrinth without an exit. Illusions weave themselves into the very fabric of reality as you seed them with traumatizing events from All Might's past, even ones no-one knows about.

It isn't long before the matches' referee comes through the speakers

Momo: Begin!

It takes a couple more seconds for All Might to enter the building, confidently striding down the first hallway. The entrance slams shut behind him, the walls merging to form a perfect seal.
