The evaluation of your mock battle, if you could even call it that, was certainly something. It's been a while since you've left a room that speechless, but you're now in the infirmary, watching over the passed out form of Izumi. She's sleeping peacefully and while you could wake her, you decide against it. With all the training she's been doing and now the school work, a little extra sleep wouldn't go amiss.

It still surprises you, the lack technological advancements in the last 300 years. With the rate they were going at you thought they'd at least of made it off the planet by now. But quirks really threw a wrench in the whole thing, at least they got the climate somewhat under control. Gaia would have broken them if they went on any longer...

Gaia... and a complete technological halt of the species that has been destroying her... That really should have come to you sooner, some god of knowledge you are. Even the fastest rituals take a month, sometimes more, to complete. At least it'll give you some time to mentally prepare for a family reunion.

As you mull all of this over in your head, your gaze drifts over to the slightly shifting form of Izumi and immediately your thoughts go elsewhere. The thousands of years you spend with them, some knew, but most didn't. Ignorance was bliss in that regard, didn't get that option this time though, to build a lie. Maybe she should know, it might temper her fires a little.

Deciding that it'd be best to not worry Inko much longer you gather all your things and check with Recovery Girl to make sure Izumi doesn't need anything else before teleporting the both of you home.

The sudden shift in environment seems to have stirred her ever so slightly as she curls around the hand you placed on her shoulder. Extracting it from her grasp is easy, as it just passes through her hand while you replace it with a pillow. You make your way out of the room in search of Inko, to let her know the two of you are back.

You find her in the kitchen, happily humming to herself as she prepares dinner.

Y/n: Hey Inko.

Inko: Oh, Y/n. You're home early, I didn't hear you come in.

Y/n: I brought us home. Izumi got herself hurt, but she's fine now, she's sleeping it off.

The small tremble her hands would give away her worry if it wasn't for the downcast look on her face.

Inko: I worry about her.

Y/n: I know you do, but she's strong, now more than ever. And if that fails, she'll always have me.

Inko smiles, though it's a melancholy one.

Inko: That's good to know. I feel like she'll need it.

You give her a tight hug before you return to your 'room' to complete the preparations for your reunion.

The ingredients are specific, but easily acquired. A branch of the oldest tree, blood from the oldest animal, a stone from the highest mountain and a drop of one's own blood; mix it all and set aflame. It's a bit of a trip, teleporting around the globe, but it only takes five or so minutes for you to assemble everything and have it all in a bowl.

A quick cut across your forearm is all it takes to draw a few drops of your blood. Little bits of liquid cosmos escape before the cut seals itself, leaving no mark. You grind everything into a fine paste and light it.

A pillar of flame immediately erupts out of it, trying to burn the stars that shines above it. After roughly a minute the fire calms and settles into an earthen brown, though you can already see the green creeping at it's base.

Y/n: Of course she's eager... Here's hoping she still knows how to behave in politer society.

You take a scroll and leave the room, returning to Izumi's side to wait for her to wake.
