Chapter 17

So today is New Year's Eve, i cant believe its New Years already the year has gone so quick but I'm happy that i have spent it with the best people. I'm finishing the year with a fiancé and a baby on the way and i have officially moved in with dec. I decided to get out of bed before dec as i let him sleep in longer as i need to get ready as me and dec are hosting the New Years party this year. I'm now going to go for a shower to wash my hair and do the other bits i need to do but all of a sudden i felt something weird in my stomach, the baby kicked! I jumped out of the shower excitedly wrapped myself in a towel and put a towel round my hair and went in to the bedroom where dec was sat up in bed on his phone.
"Baby come here" i said excitedly with a big smile on my face.
Dec walks over to where i am standing.
"What's up babe"he questioned
"Pass us your hand" he gave me his hand and i placed it on my bump and the baby kicked.
"Oh my days the baby is kicking" he said happily with tears in his eyes.
"Yeah i cant believe it" i said whilst cuddling into dec
"I'm gonna hop in the shower then i will be back and i will dry your hair for you"
"Okay baby"
He goes for his shower and i get a phone call from mason.
"Hey mase you okay"
"Not the best but I'm alright i guess"
"Why what's up"
"I'm not gonna say because I don't wanna put the stress on you and hurt the baby"
"Mason I'm your sister please tell me"
"Fine, Chloe messaged me last night saying she wants me back and that she's sorry for what she did I don't know what to do because I don't wanna get hurt again"
"Mason do you still love her"
"Yes with everything i have"
"Then tell her you still love her but you're scared of getting hurt again but if you go back to her then I don't want her near me to hurt my baby the amount of fights we have been in"
At this point dec has just walked into the bedroom and sat on the bed next to me.
"Hey mase you alright bro"
"Yeah I'm good bro and you"
"Yeah I'm good ta bro did kylie tell you the baby kicked before"
"Nah I haven't we were talking about something but anyway mase i better go cause i gotta do shopping for later on, you still up for coming yeah?"
"Yeah ill see you later ky"
I hang up the phone and i turn to dec concerned and he looks at me worried.
"What's up babe"
"Mase rang me to say that Chloe has gotten back in to contact with him and she wants a second chance and he still loves her and wants to be with her but she hates me and I'm kinda scared of the safety of our unborn baby" i start crying at this point
"Baby it will be okay I've got you i wont let anyone hurt you or our little baby i will have your back always"
"See and this is why i love you Declan rice" i give dec a quick peck on the lips.
So me and dec have done our shopping and i think we went a bit over board but its our first New Years together and we have a lot to celebrate for. Ive started laying out all of the food and drinks and dec is doing the decorations as he didn't want me doing too much to hurt the baby i just love how protective he is. Once we had finished everything, we both went upstairs to get ready for our party that we are hosting for the first time. I have decided to put on a nice pink dress that is a bit like a blazer dress and it has nice sleeves on it and i pair it with a pair of silver heels. I do a nice glam makeup and i keep my hair straight with a bit of curl on the bottom and i am all good to go. Me and dec are both ready so we just need to wait for people to start arriving.

It's now 8:30 and everyone starts arriving so far its going really well everyone looks happy and that makes me happy. There is a knock on the door and i answer it to see that it is mason and Chloe.
"Hey guys glad you could make it" i said hugging mason then hugging Chloe.
"Thank you for inviting us" Chloe said with a smile.
"Come in then I don't want you being out in the cold" i said holding the door open for both mason and Chloe to come in.
"Hey kylie would you mind if we have a chat in the kitchen or something" Chloe asked with a smile on her face
"Yeah course lets go to the kitchen then"
We both walked off to the kitchen and i made myself a mock tail as i cant have a drink and Chloe got herself a Malibu and coke as it was her favourite thing to drink.
"So what do you wanna talk about" i questioned looking at Chloe.
" so i just wanna get this off my chest. As you my know me and mason are getting back together and we are working on everything that went wrong in the relationship like the lack of communication and all that and i just wanted to clear things up with you. I'm sorry for what i said to and about you i Shouldn't have said such horrible things and i was hoping that we could put all of it behind us and start again and be close to each other because all i want is to make mason happy" she explained.
"I'm so happy that you have said that Chloe honestly I'm sorry for what i said to you as well i just hated seeing my brother hurt i picked up all the pieces and it hurt me seeing him like that. But i am more than happy to put all that behind us and start fresh i mean this baby does need their auntie chlo but just as long as you promise me you wont hurt mase like that again because i cant go through that with him again"
"I promise I don't ever wanna hurt him again"
"Come here and give me a hug" i laughed and me and Chloe hugged it all out.
We walk back to the living room and everyone is looking at us. So we both reassured everyone that me and Chloe have sorted things and that nothing bad is going to happen and everyone continues with the party. It reaches about 11:55 and me and dec get everyone outside so we can set off our fireworks. Mason and jack had decided that they would set up the fireworks for when the clock strikes 12. By the time everything is set up, its time for the countdown so i go to dec and he wraps his arms around me from behind.

At this point dec turned me around and kissed me until the fireworks went off and our kiss was bought in to the new year. We had pictures taken of us with the fireworks in the background it was honestly amazing. Me and dec then both went to everyone and hugged them and wished them a happy new year. Me and becca decided to have a picture together and cradled our bumps as becca had just announced her pregnancy she is only a few days ahead of me which is crazy I'm so happy for becca and Phil. So me and becca then take a photo and we post it on our instagram.
