Chapter 4

3rd Pov
Everything seems to be going well for little Jake as he and Michael actually got along with one another. Taking comfort in the silence that has always stood between each other. On those rare occasions Jake would speak to Michael about how the school was like and constantly questioning the man about his life.

Michael didn't speak much but he did try to answer as best as he could with all the questions been thrown his way. It was weird to him to have someone's attention on him and speaking with him so comfortably. It felt nice in a way that he managed to  at least grab someone's attention.

"So are you and that blonde chick a thing... or something." Jake questions out of curiosity. Michael shook his head no before mouthing out siblings. In which Jake nods in understanding smiling.

Michael Pov
As it got to break I went to get Jake only to see him with that Dwight kid and Evan. I don't really like the guy much. He always scolded me about everything especially when I was late. Its just he really pisses me off at times. Taking long srides I was behind them. Seems like they didn't notice me yet oh well. Grabbing Jake by the hand I just dragged him to the dinning area looking for my sister. Who is with her friends Meg, Nea and Claudette.

They're good people at least Meg and Nea are mostly annoying most of the time. Especially when they are trying to flirt with me. I hate it when people of whatever gender try to get with me for no real reason. Only to find out that I'm not interested and leave me alone. I'm tired of it.

Jake Pov
Oh! That's Laurie over there she with her friends. Me and Michael walked over to them I just waved. Michael seems off all of a sudden as the ginger with draided pigtails grabbed his hand as he sits down. And the girl with the beany takes the seat next to him holding his other hand on her lap. To say the least I already didn't appreciate them being too touchy with my new friend. Laurie glared at them menacingly sending a shiver down my spine.

"How many times do I have to tell you both to stop holding my older brothers hands. He is clearly uncomfortable and you two had never ever gave him any space once since I told you both about him." She spoke in a calm yet eerie voice.The two girls pulled their hands away from Michael's as I just grabbed his arm and pulled him to sit next his sister and me.

The atmosphere felt kinda awkward untill Dwight came with Evan who I met earlier. Michael suddenly tenses up as he glared at Evan who took a seat by Dwight who sat next to Jake. The two seems to be glaring at one another making everyone in the whole cafeteria look at them as if expecting something bad to happen between the two.

3rd Pov
Evan smiles darkly at Michael as if trying to challenge him before speaking."Well Michael how's your day been so far enjoying helping all the 1st year around?"

Laurie pouts as she grabbed hold of her brother who looked ready to pounce. Dwight gulped before slapping the back of Evans, "Oh god I'm sorry I didn't know that you two had bad blood with each other well...Jake if you ever need I'll be outside. Bye!" Dwight says leaving dragging a flustered Evan behind him. Everything seems to calm down so far.
