In the Liyue Harbor, the sun has barely risen on the horizon, and only a few people were outside and carrying on preparing for a new day of business. At the Wanmen Bookhouse, there was a striking appearance of the girl in green hanfu that was talking to Owner Jifang for a new commission.
"Please deliver these books to the locations I marked in your map, and be careful with those books, they are expensive and the only versions available," She said and the girl in green hanfu nodded her head with a smile.
"I will, Owner Jifang, then I'm off!" She turned around and went out of the Liyue harbor to deliver the books. She first went to the Wangshu Inn to give the delivery to Owner Mr. Zhu and getting a few minutes of a time out to eat and rest before going through the Stone Gate to give the delivery for the Tea seller Pops Zhou before making her way to the Qingce Village to give the last delivery for Ms. Bai.
"Ah... so tired..." Uriel who was the one who did the commission was exhausted and resting at the guest room that Ms. Bai kindly offered to her. She checks on her map and found that the way back to Liyue Harbor will be longer right now because it was nighttime.
"Miss Uriel, are you sure you're not going to rest for the night?" Ms. Bai asked worriedly after she saw the young girl already up and ready to leave Qingce Village.
"Yes Ms. Bai, Thank you for your hospitality, but I must go now," Uriel bow while thanking her before leaving the establishment.
On the way in the Stone Gate, Uriel met a group of 4 men and three women with a cart moving towards Wangshu Inn and kindly asked them if she could ride their cart as well, They all agreed and she paid them twenty Mora before sitting deep inside the cart and fell asleep in exhaustion.
"This-" Venti was perplexed at the development of her situation, obviously those people were a group of bandits, and the girls were captured- yet why did Uriel put herself in danger and ride on that cart as well?! Is she that carefree?
From the mountain top not far away from the moving cart, the wind delivered the conversation of those men about selling the girls and even Uriel for slave trading! There's such a thing in Liyue?!
"I... I must help them... b-but Uriel..." Venti stopped himself when the wind carried the voice of the person that he was worried about,
"I'm glad the second commission went straight to my path... huh, so tired, just a few more minutes,"
'...What kind of courageous girl will mumble about commissions and not her own safety?!' Venti frowned and pursed his lips while following the cart at a high altitude. When they were near the Wangshu Inn, Venti's eyes widened in disbelief at the sudden display of Uriel's prowess in swordsmanship and it took her less than ten minutes dealing with the men and tying them up and pushing them inside the cart with the help of the other girls.
"I was commissioned by the Adventurer's guild to find the missing daughters of Liyue's Mercenary guild, Ladies, Let's all go back to Liyue Harbor," She said with a charming smile and led the cart towards the Liyue Harbor from the deep of the night till the next sunrise of the next day.
"I see that you did your commission with a profession, Miss Uriel, Thank you and accept this as payment." Owner Jifang gave the Mora to Uriel and see her off, not long after she was seen outside the Adventurer's Guild and getting profusely thanked by the gruff-looking men with their daughters beside them. After getting the Mora, the next destination of Uriel made Venti bewildered,
"Why is she going to the Feiyun Commerce Guild headquarters?" Venti sneaked closer to the establishment and let the wind assist him in Uriel's situation inside.
"Uwaaah! Xingqui, I was so tired the whole day! Let your friend occupy your bed and rest!" Uriel said in a spoiled tone and Venti could hear the sigh that must have come from Xingqui.
"Must I remind you, Uriel Jiejie, that you are older than me and this type of behavior will get no end from the rants of my Father. Also, youre my older cousin not a friend," He said in a problematic tone,
"I deserve a rest too! I went from Liyue Harbor to Qingce Village and back with a bit of fighting on the way too, Don't be harsh with me, I did my best you know, so let me get the bed now~"
"Jiejie, before that, The Windsong Lyre that you commissioned to one of our Artisan is getting polished as we speak, would you like to look at it first?" Xingqui asked but Venti heard a grunt from Uriel,
"For what? You know I can only admire songs and not the instrument myself so why take my opinion? I told you to add those things I said and I'll pay it after it's done," She said that made Venti surprised.
'Wait a minute, she made me a new lyre?! I-I thought she said she have less mora in Mondstadt?' Venti was confused while listening to their conversation.
"If that's the truth, then why did you spend twenty-thousand Mora for one exquisite Windsong Lyre? For someone who's not adept in Music, you are quite the spendthrift person than the person I first knew of," Xingqui said.
"Aye! So what if I do this? It doesn't concern you, Young Master Xingqui of Fueyun Commerce Guild! Okay, go out and do your father's orders, I will rest for a while before heading to Mondstadt later," Uriel said and there was a shuffle of footsteps inside the room.
"Be sure to tell Xu before you go, We will lend you a ride if you are going," Xingqui said in a reprimanding tone.
"Aiya, Xingqui love jiejie the best! Hehe,"
"Stop joking Jiejie and just rest," Xingqui then left the place,
