Venti went inside the Serenitea pot and found Tubby rushing towards him.
"Venti, help my master! She's on the other island! Quickly!" Tubby pushed him from the back and pointed to the South of the island where a transparent path was connected to another island higher than this island. Venti used his Anemo vision to swiftly run to the top of the island and found her kneeling in the middle of the plains, seemingly praying and so desperately at that.
"Uriel! Are you okay?" Venti rushed to her side and held both of her clasped hands. Uriel opened her eyes and looked back to Venti with tear-filled eyes.
"I-I made a grave sin! I-I killed humans! K-Killing humans are the gravest sin I could commit- W-What if... What if...No, I cannot let this happen," Uriel said in desperation and pulled away from venti.
"I need some time alone, please just go back to the main building..." Uriel said and turn away from him. Venti knows that she was trying to overcome a crisis and decided to do what she wished.
"If you ever need me, I'll be waiting there for you, Uriel," Venti said and with one last glance, he went back to the main island.
Uriel was enveloped in silence, she went back to her kneeling position, clasped both her hands together, and started to pray. There was a mysterious energy that started to envelop her whole body as her body seem to tremble from the sudden pressure and pain.
She bit her lower lip as she bow down her head and continued to pray, tears running down her closed eyes as she continue what she was doing.
'It was the first time that I killed humans in a direct way... I harmed the body that HE gifted them, and not just taking the soul of those humans... I made a sin living as a mortal... Will... Will HE still welcome me with open arms if HE knew that I was gone?' Uriel thought as she cried.
She was stuck there all by herself with her thoughts and doubts all over her mind, not understanding what would be the right judgment or right wisdom to use any longer.
"Why did I receive the divine punishment when clearly I was not in the wrong? Please... please God, help me," Uriel whispered weakly as she slumped to the ground, feeling weak and exhausted.
With the rays of the setting sun, there was a silhouette of a pair of transparent wings behind her before it disappeared.
The day in the realm slowly turn into night, and it was around that time when Uriel came to and found herself inside of her room with a person beside her bed. It took her a few moments to clear her blurry and exhausted eyes and find that it was Venti. She tried to sit up from the bed, and this awoken Venti and helped her change her posture.
"Uriel, I know I said that I will wait for you to open up and tell me your secrets... however, if it keeps happening like this, I don't know how will I help you," Venti said in a worried tone as he holds her hand near him and looks at her with a pleading look.
"Uriel, please tell me what's wrong, I'm willing to help you, I am your friend, right? Seeing you like this makes me feel hurt and helpless because I do not know the problem, Can you tell me what's wrong?" Venti asked her but it was met with silence. Venti knew it was useless to push through right now and decided to just cook for them, for now, to relieve the tension and atmosphere around them.
Watching Venti go out of the room, Uriel clasped her hand together and felt the lingering warmth that Venti left on her hand. It made her feel warm and safe for a few minutes, before remembering the dilemma that she was in.
Earlier, when she was praying, She faintly felt a small path to HIS side, however, it was just a few seconds, and the backlash was too great for her mortal body. This made her faith to be shaken up.
'I desperately tried to reach HIS side, but in the end, it was on His side that cut the connection I painstakingly tried to reach. Did he... really lose his faith in me?' Just thinking of those questions made it hard for her to breathe. She put her clasped hands near her heart and felt the throbbing ache in her heart as tears run down her eyes.
The feeling of helplessness, the doubts, and the feeling of loss keep piling up in front of her tonight that all that Uriel could do was cry with withering resolve.
That was the scene that Venti saw when he came back with a tray of food for her. He walked faster to her side, putting the tray on the side table and hugging her into his arms.
"Uriel, why are you crying? I'm here for you, please don't hurt anymore," Venti was very concerned about Uriel because of her sudden depressing aura that was radiating off of her body. It was very saddening that he cannot help her because she was not ready to open up to him.
"V-Venti, t-this, I... T-The truth is..." Uriel stumbled on her words while she hold onto Venti's arms as she look at him.
"Take deep breaths, slow down, I will be here for you, Uriel," Venti helped her out while she was hyperventilating and rubbed her back soothingly.
After a couple of minutes, Uriel calmed down and drank the glass of water that Venti handed to her.
Venti also came back with a towel that was soaked in warm water to wipe Uriel's tears and her face in a gentle manner.
"Whenever you are ready, Uriel, I'll be patient and wait for you," Venti said and leaned down to kiss her forehead.
Uriel nodded her head, exhausted both physically and emotionally to even think about Venti's affection for her.
Laying back to her bed, she took a couple of minutes before she started to speak.
"This story is about my betrayal..."
