"This story is about my betrayal," Uriel started and Venti just keep his lips sealed while looking at her form.

"I was one of the higher authorities in a different place. Many followed from behind me, trusted my judgment, put their faiths on me, and utilized themselves to the pinnacle of life led by me..."

"However, I didn't know that some were also hostile towards me... I didn't know that they were trying to kill me whenever they get the chance."

"And then that dreadful day came. A judgment passed down to all of us, to reward those who did merits and punish those who did evil. When it was my turn... I face my god, filled with worship and trust, living for him and moving for him in my mind... But he banished me instead, saying that I was not worth his time and that I was staining his home..."

"I was devastated, I didn't know what happened. The sudden turn of events made those who I thought were my friends become my enemies and they pointed their blades at me. They... stripped me out of my title, and pushed me down the void...When I came to, I was... in this body of a small child," Uriel paused from talking and looked back to Venti,

"It sounds unbelievable, right? To think a soul of an angel will be pushed down to another realm as a mortal... I... still believe that I will go back to my god... however... earlier..." Uriel started to get emotional again and tears started to form in her eyes.

Venti was quiet the whole time and moved his hand to reach to her face to wipe the tears running down her face.

"It's not, You... You've been through a lot... Uriel..." Venti said and brushed away the stray hair from her face. Uriel closed her eyes and leaned on his warm palm, slowly feeling at ease and relief after sharing her past with someone.

"Venti you... can ask me anything about myself... You are my precious friend in this world... I... even though is hard to accept for you... I will wait for you this time, to accept my past and the present me," Uriel smiled at him.

"You can rest now Uriel, let's talk about this again tomorrow,"- Venti offered her a gentle smile and watch her fall asleep before going back to the guest room that he was using.

Silence has enveloped the room. Venti was sitting at the edge of the bed deep in thought.

Uriel from the start felt so mysterious and he was drawn to her and her every move. She have some behaviors that were questionable and now that he knew her past... or should he say, past life, it was all linked to her trying to find her own realm.

Teyvat is just one of the worlds that exist, knowing someone from outside this world is not common, but it's not unfamiliar to Venti as well.

'An existence that was betrayed by many and thrown away from her own world... nothing hurts more when the person you trusted was the one who stabbed you from behind...'

Venti sighed before he laid down the bed and stared at the ceiling.

'It won't matter anymore, whether or not she will be going back or not to her original realm. From her words, she came here and was in the body of the child she's occupying now. It's been years since she was transferred here. She's a normal person now with an Anemo vision. No one else,' Venti thought and finally put his mind to ease.

-
Venti was suddenly awoken in the middle of the night. The wind from the outside was still and tensed, which bewildered Venti because that doesn't happen unless something was wrong with Uriel's spirit or an unknown force was disturbing the realm.

Venti stood up from the bed and went to Uriel's room. He has to make sure that she's fine.

Opening the door of her bedroom, he found the dim room vacant, which made him surprised and confused why she was not inside her room. He went downstairs and look around but still no sign of Uriel.

There was a sudden dread that occupied Venti's chest, making him feel anxious, he doesn't know why but he needs to find Uriel with utmost urgency. He summoned the wind to help him look for the girl.

He opened the door with haste and found the person that he was looking for. She was in her nightwear and went outside barefooted. He called her name as she walk near the edge of the island, eyes seeming unfocused and arms reaching out up to the sky.

"Uriel no!"

Venti shouted as he witnessed a transformation that he wasn't prepared for.

Uriel suddenly sprouted white transparent wings that were delicate looking and majestic at the same time. It quivered with life and moved as it spread out into the air. However, the surprise didn't end there.

The majestic pair of wings shattered in front of Venti's eyes followed by the painful cry that Uriel made.

"Why? Why god?! I did everything for you! I put my life, my faith on you! Why did you banish me?! You were all I had! WHY?" She cried mournfully, coughing up blood and collapsing to the ground.

"Uriel!" Venti rushed to her side and hold her in his arms, Uriel was crying, not minding her appearance or the blood that keeps flowing down from her lips.

"Uriel what's wrong?!" Venti was upset and panicking, seeing that the blood seeping through her lips was still flowing.

"V-Venti," Uriel coughed out dark blood before looking up to him with tear-filled eyes.

"H-He abandoned me... H-He lost his faith in me... I...I... I cannot go back anymore..." Uriel said and cried in his arms.

"Oh, Uriel..." Venti pursed his lips and did his best to be rational. He stood up and carried her into his arms, going back inside the building and going straight to her room.

"Sit up on the bed and don't lay down, you're still coughing blood," Venti said to her and went down to Tubby to help him use the healing abilities of the Statue of the Seven.

When Venti came back to her side, Uriel was beyond exhausted and unresponsive at the moment. Venti was upset about this but he cannot do anything for her except to take care of her until she's ready to move forward.
