Kate woke up and quietly slipped out of Alex's old room. She silently tiptoed into the living room but, no one was there. The three couches lay empty and there were no signs of Sawyer, Miles or Lapidus. She walked outside to see that no one was there, not on the porch or in front of the house. She crept back inside but soon discovered that being quiet was useless. The house was empty. Everyone just seemed to have vanished. Suddenly, she heard a crackling sound coming from behind her. She whipped her head around and found a fire between her and the door. Then she heard crying, a baby crying, coming from everywhere at once.

"Aaron" she screamed but the crackle of the fire was so loud that her voice was faintly heard.

The fire started to grow bigger and bigger as it came towards her and the crying became so loud her ears hurt. Then the flames engulfed her.

Kate woke sweating. She sat up shaking all over. It was just a dream, she told herself. But for some reason she new that everything on this island happened for a reason and she shuttered at the thought of what the dream could have meant. She walked out of the room to the kitchen where Hurley, Ben, Lapidus, Miles and Sawyer are sitting at the little round table. She says a quick goodmorning and moves on to the living room where Claire and Charlie are sitting and eating as they laugh at something Charlie said that Kate hadn't understood.

"Goodmorning" she said, sitting on the couch oposite the one Charlie and Claire were sitting on.

"It's a quite beautiful morning actually." Charlie said amusingly.

"I'm glad to have you back Charlie. I just came to thank you for sacrificing yourself to save all of us. You are a true hero." Kate responded, standing up.

"Your very welcome" he answered.

Claire remembering about Charlie's list she had found stood and grabbed her pack. She pulled out the piece of paper and handed it to Charlie as Kate sat back down. Charlie took the paper and looked at Claire seeming embarrassed about what he had written on the sheet.

"I thought you would never find this" he said holding up the paper.

"I'm glad I did" Claire answered.

"So am I" Charlie said.

Suddenly a voice came from outside.

"Get out of the house. Run." Richard, who had been missing all night, yelled.

Instantly, everyone ran for the door and were soon standing in front of the house which was surrounded by flames. They didn't even bother saving it. It was to late. Kate couldn't help but think about her dream only minutes before.
