I woke up to the sweet smell of Nothing. For a moment I had forgotten that I no longer was apart of that family, and that I wouldn't wake up to the smell of my mother's buttermilk pancakes, cheese eggs and grits. Oh how that sounds so good right now. I snapped myself out of my memories when I heard the sound of a car outside. I somewhat hoped it was my father apologizing and asking me to come home. But it wasn't it was a raggedy truck riding on the dirt road. I walked away from the window sad. This was going take a lot to get used to. I threw on my robe and got my toothbrush. As I was just about to leave my Motel room to use the bathroom down the hall,I heard the man who sat behind the desk talking to some other man. Something about New york and plane tickets. I knew I shouldn't have been eavesdropping but it was interesting. As I listened I heard them say that there was a big drug trade tommorow morning at some place called Blood creek. Some guy who went by the street name of "Bird" was going to Send some guys to ship the supply to Minnesota. The men were planning to send the police to the trade because they're one of Florida's most wanted drug dealers and there was a huge lump-some of money for whoever captured them. Shipment to Minnesota. The words wondered around in my head. Maybe there is some way I can get there, catch the plane, start a new life. I still have 200$ of my father's money not counting the money I haven't counted from my change bank. At that point I had already stopped listening. I turned my door knob and when they heard me they stopped talking. "Oh,your an early bird are you? Well the early bird catches the worm. Did you sleep well?" The guy who worked behind the desk asked. "Never better" I fakely answered. The bed was soft, but it was too soft. I like to have my bed soft and firm, but it had to do for the night. I walked down the hall to the bathroom brushed my teeth, took a quick shower and pondered about what the plan was going to be for tomorrow. I returned to my bedroom and got dressed. I left my luggage there though,i'd be back later. I carried my change bank out the door. On my way I asked if there were any decent markets or diners anywhere near here. He told me there was a supermarket near. I figured there might me a coin counter in the market. I thanked him. I walked up the road and came across a sign that read "Florida's Finest Foods" with the subtitle of supermarket. I entered,it was really big. Full of food, snacks, drinks anything edible. The smell of the nearby bakery section of the market was amazing. I then spotted a coin counter. I walked over and dumped all my coins in,hoping i'd saved enough. The number was rising as all my coins were falling inside of the machine. Then it finally settled on a number 105.56$. Wow,I had no idea change would add up to that much. The machine exchanged my change for paper bills.I now had the amout of 305.56$. Pretty good if you asked me. I then used a five dollar bill to buy a sandwhich,a bottle of water and a twenty-five cent bag of potato chips. Nothing else really happened. I went back to the Motel, ate my sandwhich. I watched some basic cable. The day went by pretty quickly. Around 9:40pm I turned my light out and layed in bed. I needed a good night's sleep. I have a big day ahead of me.
