I followed the men outside, pretending like I was only walking down the road. But they were heading to a car. Damn I thought to myself. I hadn't thought anything farther than following them there. There was no way I could keep up with them on foot. I spotted a bike on the rack infront of the market.I thought of borrowing it but then i'd have no chance of staying hidden. They were getting in the car. If i didn't make a move now,my entire chance of escaping would be ruined. I glanced over at the car, they were inside already. Then like a scene in a movie, something took over me. I crawled under the car, lifted myself onto the pipes underneath and held on tight. Soon the car was moving, and I was on a mission to keep myself from falling head first on the dirt road. What in the world am I doing? I thought to myself. The car kept running into pot holes, turns and bumps. I nearly had a heart attack. After about what seened like FOREVER but was probably only 15 minutes or so,the car was slowly coming to a stop. I lowered myself, low enough to see around the car but not low enough to touch the ground. Around me was a big building. It looked abandoned. Broken windows, charred walls, and uneven floorboards. What ever had happened to that building must've been horrible. I had lost my train of thought when the men whose cars I was riding under, opened their doors and stepped out. They were quiet. I held my breath. I can't mess this up I thought to myself. The men walked away quickly,I watched their feet. It looked like they were about to dip around a corner. I quickly dropped myself, but slowly crawled from underneath the car, weary of the security that's probably positioned around here. Once I assumed I was in the clear,I sprinted around the corner, hoping I hadn't fell too far off track. When I got around there,I got butterflies . I saw all the black cars I had seen earlier. I had a feeling that my plan wouldn't be as smooth as I had planned it to be. When I looked up I saw two men on a roof. They were facing eachother, probably strapped up security guys. My heart dropped to my stomach. I fell all the way to the ground and crouched behind a dumpster. What the hell did I just get myself into? I thought to myself. Just when I imagined being in the comfort of my old house. I heard grunting, I looked up. What I saw made me almost lose my breath. The men who I were riding "with" were being held captive. Hands restricted behind there backs. Guns to their heads. "Give me a reason why I shouldn't blow your brains out" one of the securities said. The Motel owner had sweat dripping down his face. "Too late!" Bang! I closed my eyes and looked away. Then another voice screamed. Bang! I cringed. When I finally got the guts to look over, there was blood everywhere. Flesh on the walls. Two men shot directly in the head. That's probably why it's called Blood Creek, because of the watery-like blood flow around here. I had never saw that. Tears went down my cheeks. I want to go home! I wanted to scream it so bad. I didn't want to leave anymore. By now I was choking back tears, trying my hardest not to be heard. Just then a bird had flew next to me,unexpectedly. From choking back tears, seeing brains on a wall, and being cought in the middle of a drug trade it startled me. I let out a loud scream. Oh no! All eyes were on me,so I did the first thing I could think of. I ran around the corner,my feet moving what felt like 100 miles per hour. I heard a round of bullets go off.Bang Bang Bang Bang. I fell to the ground. The sounds from all angles broke my balance and I fell. I got over it quickly. I hopped up in point two seconds and started zig zagging. I couldn't die,I had too much life to live. I turned a corner into an alley. Infront of me,on a building's roof there was another man aiming at me and he fired. I must've became Superman because I spotted a broken window. I jumped once and fell inside of the building. I hadn't lost them though. They were still firing at me,windows shattering. I had never been in here before. I had no time to try and figure it out either. All I knew was there were people behind me,determined to take my life. I ran up a flight of steps, they were creaking and cracking as I ran. Seemed like my body couldn't keep up with my feet. Bang Bang Bang ! Shots were firing all around me,they sound close. When I got to the top of the steps,I saw boxes. Big boxes.Looked like they were the size of refrigerators. Some were smaller. I ran into one of the boxes,it hadn't fell easily. Means it wasn't empty. I tripped over one of them. Then I got a sick idea. The men who were chasing after me ran into the room, firing,I held my breath. Some bullets penetrated the boxes. They ran out shooting. I was soaked in sweat. I quickly put my mouth to one of the holes that a bullet had made. Luckily it missed me. Breathing rapidly yet softly I layed there, inside a box, scared for my life.
In the distance I heard shots still being fired. Someone yelled " He Got away!"I was so glad. But then I was getting dizzy,I thought I was losing air,I inhaled deeper then layed down. Next thing I knew I was unconscious .
