It was a normal day at UA High. Bakugou was trying to blow up Deku, Mineta was harassing the girls, Todoroki was plotting Endeavor's death, Denki was doing something stupid, Kirishima was trying to stop his crush from becoming a murderer and Iida was trying and failing to keep the class under control.
That was until Aizawa came in. Everyone quickly rushed to their seats as if nothing had happened. Aizawa was used to this. He acted as if he hated them, but in reality he didn't know what he'd do without them. They'd managed to get into his usually cold heart and he'd do anything to protect them. Even die. He'd risked his life for them twice already, and he'd do it again.
It was in the middle of the lesson when Aizawa got a phone call.
"Sorry, I have to take this. Do what you want for a couple minutes." He said, picking up the phone.
"Hello?" he asked, in his usual monotone voice. Suddenly, he dropped the phone, his hand shaking uncontrollably.
"Mr Aizawa, are you okay?" Midoriya asked, concerned.
He didn't respond, he just picked up his phone and ran out the classroom.
The students were worried, Aizawa had never just left without an explanation.
"Should we go after him?" Denki asked.
Everyone wanted to go, but Iida stopped them.
"We should stay here and wait for further instructions." he said, chopping his hands.
"Iida is right." Todoroki said, earning a look from everyone else. "There could be villains. We don't know what's going on."
They hadn't thought of that.
"I-I guess it would be safer to stay." Kirishima finally said.
They sat down in their seats, still worried for their teacher. Suddenly, Bakugou stood up, knocking his chair over.
"This is fucking stupid. I'm not staying here with all you extras!" He shouted, sparks flying from his palms.
Deku saw right through him. "You're just worried about Aizawa-Sensei, Kacchan."
"Tch, whatever." He said, sitting back down. He fidgeted, unable to sit still.
"Are you ok, Bakugou?" Denki asked.
"If there are villains, he could be in danger... I can't just let him die, he saved me!" Bakugou muttered.
Deku took his hand. "Kacchan, I'm sure he's okay. There's probably nothing even wrong. We're probably overreacting."
Bakugou smiled.
"Yeah, I'm sure he's fine, Bakubro. He's too stubborn to die." Kirishima said.
That made everyone laugh.
"Yeah, his boring sleep deprived ass can get through anything." Denki said, making the class laugh harder.
