He stood outside the door to his classroom.
This was the last time he would ever walk in here. It took everything he had to not break down right there.
He opened the door, expecting the students to have killed each other by now. So he was surprised to see them sitting in their seats, talking quietly. That was until they noticed him.
"Mr Aizawa! You're back!" Kirishima shouts, waving.
"Hey Aizawa-Sensei!" Denki says.
"Is everything alright? Why did you leave so suddenly?" Iida asks, chopping his hands.
He looked at them sadly.
He's really gonna miss these problem kids.
He tried to speak but he couldn't find the right words. "I- um..."
"What is it?" Todoroki asks, looking genuinely interested.
"The hero commission has fired me. I am no longer your teacher." That last part hurt his heart.
"WHAT?" Mina yells.
"They- they can't do that, can they?" Tsu says, tears in her eyes.
"They can. I'm fired." He says bluntly, gathering his things.
"But... why?" Kirishima asks, shocked.
"They think I'm too reckless, endangering your lives. It's true though, 1A is the only class with so many villain attacks."
"I- I don't know what to say." Iida says.
"You've been the best teacher we could have ever asked for, Mr. Aizawa." Jirou was trying not to cry.
He picked up his sleeping bag and tucked it under his arm. He went to pick up his class notes, when he stopped. He wouldn't need them anymore.
Once he had all his stuff together, he turned to face his class.
"I guess this is goodbye...."
