They sat in the inn at tables, drinking, Gregory a little more perky bust still tired. Cecil had booked a room for Gregory. For himself, he said he would stay up, and keep watch. Mentioned something about suspicious people following.Gregory frowned looking at the coffee. She had not ordered or requested it. She pulled it closer to herself. Cecil was looking suspiciously around the pub.

"Do you sleep" Gregory asked looking up. Sitting next to Gregory he did not feel as small as he usually did, but the town seemed like giants to them.

"I can" Cecil said glancing around the room "for hundreds of years at a time. But it's not a need and I haven't slept in a few decades."

"Does that like, do anything bad to you?" Gregory asked.

Cecil shrugged dipping his fingers into his drink "no."

Walking. It seems to go on forever. Blister becoming on blister of blister of blisters. Sweat dripped from crevasse of Gregory.

"I think there are people following us" Cecil said after a while. Gregory looked around.

"I see no one" Gregory said "who is it? Is it the spirit of this forest?"

"No, thats still Rosie by the way, she has things to do. All know well I am a sibling of no threat, and I will guard any near me."

"Is it a type of spirit?" Gregory asked "I'd love to see some Elementals."

"Elementals?" Cecil laughed throwing his head back shaking - Gregory thought this was a little over dramatic, but then, he just seemed that kinda guy "the closes to Elemental's your gonna get are river spirits and pond spirits. Fucking Rain. Rain I'd say, I'm a spirit, I used to be a forest, help me heal, and alas but rain said, nah. Man nah I don't feel like it. Got a stitch init? Fucking Elemental's."

"You've met Rain? All Rain?" Gregory asked keenly.

"Nah it was Rain Coast, of the south. But All Rain? Why on earth would you want to meet spirits like them?" Cecil asked.

"I just want to know what their like, their favourite colour and dinosaur, what they look like and their personality."

"You do know why that probably won't happen, right?" Cecil asked.

"Because meeting any sort Elemental is only supposed to be able to happen with big spirits. Like really huge."

"So big and that if science were out of the equation they could be mistaken for Elements. For example, you have the spirit of All Chaos, the chaotic nature of every spirit and human, and of course all the world itself, flipping massive. Not en element, but still a huge spirit. You also have Chaos Catastrophe, now technically she at some point was human, but she has gained such power age, and a fame that has settled through out time all of time popping up anywhere that, even she has met a few Elementals. Usually by accident, but she befriends them sometimes. Or tries to kill them. For example Chaos once tried to kill the sea."

"What? What? Wait are you serious?" Gregory said utterly flabbergasted.

"She did, she got a bunch of her followers to whip the sea, and whenever anyone asked what Sea had deserved his punishment for, she would look off in to the distance and say, disobedience my dear Watson. Disobedience."

Gregory frowned "hold on. Whipped? I've heard this before- that fucking Caligula you dick."

    "Erm what?" Cecil asked.
