First the sea's roar. Trees, big, with thick trunks, twelve. Nettles, and thistles guarding the path. They stepped over them in to a new opening, like a new world. It was a bungalow cottage, the front door pointed toward the vegetable patch. The windows were covered with dust, it was a thin layer, the owners had been away for sometime, but not too long.
"Why the fucks it so nice here?" Sebastian asked turning around.
"Do you want an actual answer or should I just coo?" Cecil asked.
"Is this place for sale?" Sebastian asked.
"What?" Cecil asked angrily.
"I can afford anything however much. I can pay you."
"Bitch" Cecil said with a wide toothed grin.
"Thats right" Sebastian "and I can even pay you what you want."
Cecil walked straight up to Sebastian "I said bitch. I'm a spirit."
"Hmmm" Sebastian shrugged "I heard but me and the bae mostly only deal with interdimensional leakage. Chaos is the one with souls and spirits, or as Robert, calls you, faeries."
"Sebastian, you can't buy anything from me" Cecil shrugged "I'm unbuyable."
Sebastian shook his head "everyone wants something."
"Erm are we going in to the house to rest or somthing?" Gregory asked.
"Sure" Cecil said and moved to open the door.
"Although can I prove a point? I don't mean I'd actually do this- just proving a point" Sebastian said and grabbed Gregory by the hair, pulling her up.
"Ahh let me the fuck go you bastard" Gregory screeched. Sebastian pulled out a knife and lightly float in the air by Gregory's neck.
"Now you see" Sebastian said "I could buy this land off you for her life."
"Sebastian. I've been walking and I am growing weary. This would not work, I would just kill you. Besides, when it comes to this particular plot of land, I'd give you Wotan for it."
Sebastian's mouth gaped as he dropped Gregory and put his knife away "well now I know not to trust you. That is dark."
Cecil laughed "I'm glad you agree with me, that would not work out well."
"Holy shit"
* * *
They sat awkwardly around a a square table, wind blowing in from all the open windows as they all drunk their chosen beverages.
"Anyway, enough of buying land. I do suppose I have enough. Although I'd like more. But I'm here to talk to you about Robert. I would suggest you zap over to Robert-"
"What is zapping over? I could glide, but I got things to be doing. That kind of distance will take me ages. Besides, me and Gregory are on a mission, aren't we?" Cecil asked. Gregory, had mixed feelings. She had just watched this man horrifically eat a person. But he always seemed genuine, and although he wasn't friendly, he's what you'd call, good company.
"Mmmmm" Gregory hummed.
"You gonna eat that kid?" Sebastian asked.
"Shove a trash can up your arse- ain't no one eating me."
"Well" Cecil said with wide eyes and a nod "shove a trash can, up your arse."
"Don't take the fucking mik out of me" Gregory said angrily.
"I like her" Cecil said "so we're going to the Eastlands."
Sebastian face dropped as he looked wide eyed from Gregory to Cecil "so you can get her killed instead. The kid is rude and disrespects"
"What?" Cecil asked frowning looking at Gregory who was chewing her bottom lip. Cecil looked back to Sebastian.
"I literally just ate a man in front of you Sebastian." Cecil said.
"What - well everyone has their bad days" Sebastian said shaking it off.
"Sebastian, I'm the one doing the eating, and even I know its sick, I daresay I wouldn't be surprised if one day no one where to ever speak to me. Come on Sebby, denial gets you no where."
