The second half of my painting class was reserved for acrylics. If I thought I enjoyed watercolor, acrylics were heaven on earth. Seriously though, acrylics were so much easier to work with. If I messed up, I could just paint over the mistake. Watercolors... not so much.
I tried to take a picture after every session at the easel. Some days are missing just because I forgot.

The first assignment was to paint a still life in front of us. We were all looking at the same objects, but from different angles. This assignment was difficult for me because not only was it my first time painting acrylic in seven years, but my art teacher had us use a new technique. We had to paint in a thin layer for the shapes of the objects and their positions.

The second layer was to fix any mistakes in positioning and start adding in the shadows
