Mirabel got her bag before trying to sneak into her papa's now abandoned tower-like room. Trying to avoid the rest of the family in the process of sneaking in trying to make sure no one sees her. When she went through the door to Bruno's room she was met with a doorway vile of flowing yellow almost golden sand. "Hey, casita, can you turn off the vile sand door please, " Mirabel had asked the casita but in return, the casita moved the tiles outside the room, kinda saying it can't do that.

Mirabel had sighed a bit and politely says in return with a soft smile ", thanks for trying anyway Casita." She then ran right on through the falling sand door on her way through the door when she suddenly tripped and fell into the huge sandpit. In which the fall into the sandpit had caused the sand to cover her glasses and in doing so her sight in the sand. Mirabel had picked herself up and cleaned her glasses allowing her to see again from the particles of sand. On the downside of clearing her sight from the sand, she had seen the hundreds or maybe thousands of stairs going up to the top of the room. So she groaned in a little agony and of annoyance before going up the stairway of her personal hell.

"Papa why are there so many stairs in your room," she murmured to herself in complete agony. Elsewhere, we see Dolores as she heard Mirabel laugh at the sentence her cousin had muttered. Back with Mirabel and the stairway to hell. After about 20 minutes or so Mirabel had finally made it to the top of the stairs and saw a small ravine. Even though she was exhausted from going up the stairway to hell. She grabbed the broken bridge and made a swing rope by tossing over some rocks.

Mirabel then proceeded by swinging on the homemade rope swing to the other side of the ravine. As she swung on the rope she had made it to the other side and she continued her way to the door of the room. As Mirabel walked in she noticed green tiles on the walls of the walkway she entered through. Mirabel had quickly realized what they were, they are visions that her papa had done before he had 'disappeared'.

Mirabel had continued down the corridor and made it to the end of the corridor into a big open room. 'This is where papa must do his visions' she thought to herself. While looking around the open-spaced room Mirabel noticed green shards of glass in the sand. Mirabel proceeds to grab a piece of the green glass as sand starts to pour into the abandoned room. Mirabel tries to rush to grab all of the glowing green glass-like material pieces as fast she possibly can. Mirabel had then proceeded to book it out as soon as the last piece of glass enters her bag.

*time skip to Mirabel out of her papa's room and a rat named Jorge*

As Mirabel exits through her papa's door she has accidentally bumped into her Abuela. "What got you in a hurry, Mirabel? And why are you covered in sand?" Abuela questioned with a small scowl on her face. "Oh, I was making sure I made it back before the dinner. Also, I was playing with the village children and they got sand in my hair earlier," Mirabel gave a lie that seemed convincing and smiled at her Abuela. Angela believed because it seemed believable for Mirabel.
