*time skip to after the vision and Bruno being terrified by his "darling" and "wonderful" and elderly mother and his sinister 'kind hearted' young daughter*
Mirabel had begun to pace around in her small room debating about if she wanted to continue to live in this world or if she wanted to die on the spot where she now stands. Because if she wanted to save the casita from cracking apart, Mirabel has to make amends with or at least try to make amends with her nightmare of her family member: her Abuela. Out of all people in the Madrigal household. The person that had always hated her the most she had to make amends with. Though in all honesty she rather makes amends to her 'elder sisters'. But she can't do that due to the fact she was already had been very close with and loved to death the most: Isabela and Luisa.
* time skip cause the author of the book has no idea what to put as a filler (you try to come up with filler it's harder than you guys think)*
Mirabel stood in front of her Abuela a little more nervous than usual. She had tried calming down enough to try to at least speak normally to her but Abuela put her hand up before she could try to speak and spoke very clearly and loudly straight at Mirabel glaring with obvious disgust", what do you want Mirabel? Can't you see that I am very busy today with far more important other things other than talking with you?" Mirabel saw Abuela grimace at her clearly showing that Abuela doesn't like being around Mirabel for very long. "So stop being a damn nuisance for once and stay away from me and the rest of 'my' familia. Because you are not part of this familia, you were not born into this family at all!! Because if you were you would have a gift!!," Mirabel teared up at her Abuela's words. When Mirabel broke into tears the casita began to crack more than before. But Abuela continued to insult and berate Mirabel more as the Casita continued to crack bigger and bigger each time.
So with every word, Abuela spoke the more the Casita cracked apart. But due to each word, Abuela says the more Mirabel cries and cries. Camilo was so done with his Abuela so he decided to finally step up to protect his partner in crime and his favourite Madrigal besides his siblings and yelled at Abuela with tears in his eyes," How dare you yell at Mirabel! She is more family than anyone else! She does her best with no gift! She tries to cheers others up, no matter what has hurt them, and if it wasn't because of her I would have never thought of giving some parents a break from helping to watch their kids and she taught me to see my gift as a gift instead of as a curse I thought it was!" Abuela gasped at what Camilo shouted at her as the Casita continued to crack apart even more than before.
Abuela face had glowed a bright red like the burning sun as she began to yell at the young Camilo ", You stay out of this nieto! You have no say in this your gift is useless just as Mirabel. I am surprised you even can even use it in the first place. But unlike Mirabel, you know when to be to stop annoying everyone around you and stop with you jokes. So stop acting like you are still a child and grow the fuck up for once!" Camilo cried while he hugged Mirabel as she finally broke down and ugly cried into her primo's shoulder.
When suddenly the Casita let out an angry almost outraged Bruno who was done with his mother, from within its nearby walls ", HOW DARE YOU YELL THAT TO MY DAUGHTER LIKE THAT WAY! MY DAUGHTER IS BEAUTIFUL & WONDERFULLY MADE AS SHE IS PROBABLY ONE OF THE BEST THINGS THAT HAPPENED IN THIS WHOLE FAMILY! AND CAMILO! HOW YOU DARE YELL AT MY AMAZING FAVOURITE SOBRINO! THE ONLY BROKEN THING THAT NEEDS TO GET THEIR EYES CHECK IS YOU! I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT ME, BUT IF YOU'RE TOO STUBBORN TO REALIZE THAT YOU'RE TEARING THIS FAMILY APART THEN YOU NEED SOME GOOD LICKS IN YOUR BACKSIDE!" But during Bruno's speech, he tripped coming from the wall but had never stopped as he did as he picked himself up never pausing while doing so.
The casita cracked and tried to roll everyone out while still cracking. Mirabel who was still crying decided to go gets the candle. Even though she was still crying. The casita tried to help Mirabel the best it can. The casita turned its rails into a ladder for Mirabel to use. The others are already safe from the falling house. Mirabel got the candle but the casita moved doors around her before the tower fell.
With the casita gone, Mirabel had gotten up with no emotions and left to the river. Mirabel curled up as she let out a cry. "I guess I did screw up. Abuela was right I don't belong in this family," Mirabel whispered to herself. "Don't say that Alma doesn't know anything," Mirabel heard a guys voice say. Mirabel shot her head up and looked beside her, there sat next to her was her Abulito Pedro. "Alma, she had lost herself long ago. But she tried to do something no one can, she tried to make everyone perfect to 'honour' the miracle. But the true miracle was the family itself... So dulce nieta please show her that," Pedro said as he disappeared.
A/N I had to change the story to mature due to both the verbal and emotional abuse I have written. I had to take breaks from writing it because of my PTSD from my own interactions from the past. I hope you guys like it. I am going to take a week off for school and for a mental health break. See ya next time.
