The four cousins could be seen walking downstairs as the last plate was set on the dining room table. But two of the three girls and the one male cousins didn't care while their hatred gaze fell onto their Abuela with more intense fiery hatred in three of the cousins' eyes. Though no one had noticed as everyone had sat down at the table for dinner. Though Mariano could be seen a bit nervous about something it hadn't been noticed by anyone at the exact moment.
Abuela had thought to say something but before she did she began to glare in distaste at the second-youngest Madrigal Mirabel. "I am very ecstatic that you two could come here tonight on such a special occasion." Abuela started to say sickeningly sweet from her mouth. Mariano's Abuela continued from there to the family ", We are very ecstatic to be here tonight. Right cariño?" Though Mariano was uncomfortable about proposing to Isabela he nervously spoke ", yes we are very ecstatic!"
As everyone ate for a bit before Mariano's Abuela had poked him in his side at pointed to his pocket. Though at that moment rats had climbed into Mirabel's bag and had begun to pull out the pieces of the prophecy and put them together in a pan underneath the dining room table without anyone knowing. Though a minute or two later Mirabel had noticed too late when the tray slid underneath the table to Abuela and she snapped at Mirabel as she has always done when she was angry. "Mirabel just go to your room and don't come out. You have broken at least four different rules! Now go! Pathetic excuse of a granddaughter," Abuela had snapped at Mirabel and then says underneath her breath at poor Mirabel again.
Mirabel had run upstairs as tears began to form about to go to her room until she noticed the rats with the prophecy proceed to go behind the painting of plants. Mirabel decided to follow the rats behind the painting of plants instead of going to her room. As she went through she had seen someone before they had run off and Mirabel followed in pursuit after them. As the stranger had begun dodging and weaving through the space in between the walls. While trying to keep up the floor began to lose broads as Mirabel fell through. Trying to hold onto the floor that seemed stable. Bruno had grabbed her and tried to pull her up and said ", your hands are kinda sweaty." After this, they both fell and Mirabel grabbed a ledge that was hanging to stop them from falling down even more.
Mirabel had grabbed Bruno but a rat had suddenly come out from his poncho had surprised Mirabel and accidentally let go of her hold on Bruno who had fallen into the dark abyss below. Bruno had then popped up a moment later and does a small squeak as in saying 'huh I thought it was deeper than this but I guess not. Mirabel was shocked at what she heard him say about it ", I honestly thought it was an 8 feet deep dropdown. Turns out it is just a one-foot drop all along who knew."
*after 5 minutes getting out of the six feet deep hole. Get yo minds out of the gutter*
Bruno had looked down at Mirabel and had quickly said ", bye." Then he had walked off, leaving the sweet Mirabel in shock and confusion before she began following after him a little upset. "Papa! You have been back here for all this time!" Mirabel had spoken a bit more upset about this piece of information that was hidden from her this whole time. Though glad that he was never too far away from her. At least Mirabel knew her papa had been okay. Though she was upset about not being able to see him while she grew up with the rest of the family.
