𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐄𝐁𝐄 𝐖𝐀𝐋𝐊𝐒 𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐆𝐇 𝐓𝐇𝐄 doors of central perk all looking slightly miserable. "Hi, guys" she greets as she walks to the drink bar to get some coffee from a working Rachel.
When everyone greeted her back, except Caroline, who was at work, Ross, with a coffee mug in his hands, then asks, "Hey, oh, how did it go?"
"Oh, not so good, he walked me to the subway and said, 'We should do this again" Everyone groans except for a Rachel who confusedly wonders out loud,
"What? 'We should do this again'. That's good, right?" Phoebe picks up her coffee as Monica explains,
"Uh, no, loosely translated 'We should do this again' means 'You will never see me naked'" Rachel walks from the bar, to the gang questioning,
"Since when?". Joey, who was sitting backwards on his chair holding a coffee cup, then answers,
"Since always. It's like, dating language. You know, like, 'It's not you' means 'It is you'" He said it as nonchalantly and calmly as possible which makes Rachel wonder how she didn't know this before.
Monica snickers at his statement before Chandler inadequately adds on, "Or, 'You're such a nice guy' means 'I'm going to be dating leather wearing alcoholics and complaining about them to you"
"Or, or, you know, 'I think we should see other people' means 'Ha, ha, I already am'" Phoebe conveys.
Rachel looks slightly taken back by the answers from all of her friends before asking, "And everybody knows this"
Joey straight away responds, "Oh, yeah...cushions the blow" Chandler then adds on to his friend's statement,
"Yeah, it's like when you're a kid and your parents put your dog to sleep and then they tell you that it went off to live on some farm"
Ross waves his hand at Monica before saying innocently, "That's funny. No, because, uh, our parents actually did, uh, send our dog up to live on a farm"
Monica messes with the ruffles on the couch she was sitting on before informing Ross sadly, "Uh...Ross?"
Ross scoffs slightly before telling his sister, "What, hello? The Milner's farm in Connecticut" everyone looked astonished how he didn't know this sooner as he continued on saying,
"The Milner's had this unbelievable farm. They had horses and rabbits that he could chase and then..." Everyone have him a sympathetic yet stern look as finishes putting his hand on his head, "Oh my god, Chi Chi"
