Third person POV

Running footsteps were heard during the darks hours of the quite night. A girl, more specifically an orge, ran through the forest. Blood trailing along with her footsteps.

Your POV:

I ran, as fast as I could, my vision getting blurry. "No, I cant give in. I cant give up" I though to myself as I was running as fast as my injured body would take me.

The orge village where I lived happily with my family was now no more. Those pigs destroyed it. 

Even with all the effort our village took to have us safe, none was successful... Making me the sole survivor of my village. 

Our village had heard of what happened to orge village in the southwest, only 6 had survived. Even with all the effort and orge power that was put in, it was all in vain. 

Those orcs were huge in number, although it was still hard to believe, mere orcs were able to overpower orges. I never thought it would be possible.

The blood loss was getting to me as black clouds were taking over my vision.

"Damn it more of those pigs at a time like this?" I cursed to myself as I saw a dozen of orcs. I dont know if I have the enough strength to fight them.

If I was not so wounded then at least I would have had small chance to survive, but I doubt it with my current state.

My hands went behind my back to pull out my weapon... a scythe. I held on its handle as I flicked it to get my scythe's blades out.

[A/N : If you cant understand what I mean, let me explain. Your scythe is a stick? a rod? something like that and you can get its blades out when you want.. It is so that it would be easier for you when you are not particularly fighting. I know my explaining sucks, but show some mercy, this is my first book.]

Obviously I am not going to fight them, I am going to try to get away with the help of the trees but if I were to get noticed, then I would have to defend myself. I cannot die now, my parents sacrificed their life for mine. Letting myself die is not an option as long as I can stop it.

I have no clue where I am, I cant rely on my shadow travel. Seems like I can shadow travel only a short distance, considering that I'm almost out of magicules as well as energy.

"Alright lets do this" I said to myself as jumped on to the tree and started hopping from tree to tree, hoping to get away from the orcs nearby.

"Seems like I was successful in escaping them" or so I thought.

"Seriously, you have got to be kidding me" I said to myself as an orc came towards me chanting its weird battle phrase.

"Its just one pig, I got this" I thought to myself as I flicked my scythe out and took a battle stance.

"Die you disgusting pig" I muttered as I took off towards the pig, ready to slice him up.

What I didn't expect was it to block my attack, the block pushed me back as I collided with a tree.

I got back on my feet and strike again, the orc got ready to block.

"Heh you thought I would attack the same way again?" I smirked again as I shadow travelled behind him and sliced that pig with my scythe.

"That felt good-" My ears twitched as I jump on the nearest tree. "or not" I whispered to myself as I continue to hop from tree to tree, away from the new bunch of orcs.
