Benimaru X Reader

A/N: Alright everyone... I'm back after a while. My finals start soon so after this part I will take another break. Excuse me for that but enjoy this one shot!!

??? POV

I need to check up on the orcs marching. If they are too close we might be at a disadvantage. The slime could be strong enough to beat them. Should I have Y/n to go check on it?

I should... She might be able to see them faster than me so I'll let her know about it..

Your POV

Everyone seems to be kind of stressed after hearing the news about the marching. If I am being completely honest it does kind of scare me a little.

No one POV

As Y/n was sitting deep in her thoughts sounds of soft footsteps pulled her to reality.

"Y/n! There you are. I need to ask a favor if that is alright?" She asked.

"Oh Treyni! Yeah I'm pretty bored right now so ask away!" Y/n smiled.

It was extremely rare for Treyni to ask for something. Maybe the terrorizing done by the orcs is going way too south?

"The orcs... It might turn to be a demon lord in the making..."

"Wait... Don't tell me..."

"Yes Y/n.. We need to protect this forest. Can you get a rough idea of where the orcs are right now? We need to get help."

"Sure but who are you planning to ask for help?"

"The slime.. He is strong and so are his people. They are a force to be reckoned with."

"Oh I see. So you plan on talking to them?"

"Half true. I do plan on letting them know but it won't be me who is doing that" Treyni replied with a smile.

"Hold up... Treyni you don't plan on making me go...right?"

"Y/n your powers can tell the location of the orcs easily, you are also really good with talking. Can you do this for me?"

[A/N: I'm definitely the worst at talking to people. It's hard even when I am dreaming]

With a sigh Y/n agrees. Jumping down from the tree she was just sitting at, landing gracefully on the ground, Y/n slowly brings her hand up as beautiful vines and plants with pretty flowers float around it.

"They are close by. It won't take them too long before they reach this forest" Y/n mutters out to Treyni who starts feeling slightly nervous.

"Then we mustn't take too much time. Let us inform Rimuru right away"

"Alright then, I'm off. Don't worry too much alright? I'm sure everything will turn out just fine!" Y/n says before leaving to have a chat over tea with the slime.

A SMALL TIMESKIP

Y/n has revealed herself to the slime and his subordinates. To say they were extremely surprised to see a dryad was an understatement.

Y/n quickly finishes up with what she has to say, letting Rimuru have a talk with his subordinates to plan their next move.

As she was listening she couldn't help but notice how her attention often went to the red head sitting across her.

She learned that him along with a few others were the survivors from the orc march. He has evolved after earning the name 'Benimaru' from the great Rimuru Tempest.

Y/n continues to help them, giving information about the orc's location and such for the sake of protecting this beloved forest.

Treyni sometimes joins Y/n to help. They make great progress with the planning and Y/n with her 'friendship' with Beninaru.
