It was a sunny morning when Mrs. Gold had woken up her partner from slumber, Mrs. Rainbow.
Gold: Rainbow! Rainbow!
Rainbow: What, Gold?
Gold: Don't you remember? We have to go to work. UGH! And we have to take care of those little brats...
Rainbow: Talkin' about Funneh, Lunar, and Draco, the kids of Mrs. Li, I imagine?
Gold: Yep. That Lunar Li is fine, but if we do end up taking her in, she might find out about the true nature of Kawaii Daycare...
Rainbow: Oh, please, Gold! She's barely even eight years old! Seven-year-olds are oblivious.
Gold: If you say so... But that Funneh and Draco seem harmless and aren't a threat to the business, they're just annoying.
Rainbow was looking at her phone and then smiled at her partner.
Gold: Oooh! Do we have new targets to take in?
Rainbow: Indeed, Gold. It's the Li kids we were just talking about a few moments ago. Their mother and father are going on a business trip today, which is perfect! We'll take the Li kids and the Kawaii Daycare operatives will finish off the parents.
Gold: Oooh, I like the sound of that! But... Doesn't that mean that those pesky kids will be in our hair all day and night? UGH, are you sure we need to target the Li kids?!
Rainbow: Yes, Gold, I'm sure. It's been nearly a month since we haven't targeted any kid and if we don't wanna... uh, y'know... we need to target any kid whose parents aren't in town! It's the perfect plan.
Gold: Fine! As long as we don't... well, yeah.
A FEW HOURS LATER...
Rainbow and Gold were talking to Mrs. Li and Mr. Li while Funneh, Lunar, and Draco had already gone off to play in the ball pit with some of the other kids.
Mr. Li: Are you sure that we aren't bothering you by needing you two to babysit our children for two weeks?
Rainbow: Bothering us? Oh, not at all, Mr. Li! I and my partner ENJOY the company that the children bring us. Why else would we become the head babysitters of this Kawaii Daycare?
Mrs. Li: I'm just glad that we have finally found the right daycare for our children! With the other daycares and babysitters, there have been some technical problems. And I imagine that you've seen the recent reviews for the once-popular Sweet & Sour Daycare...
Gold: Oh, yes. We are just glad that our customer's children are safe and in the right hands!
Rainbow: Because here, at Kawaii Daycare...
Rainbow & Gold: ... we treat everyone here like family!
Mrs. Li: Thank you dearly!
Mr. Li: Here's the money that will cover the two weeks of babysitting... And have a good day, ladies!
Rainbow: You too, Mr. and Mrs. Li!
Once the parents got in their car to drive to the airport, Rainbow and Gold smiled at each other. Their plan could finally start, after a week of babysitting these "pesky" kids...
Gold: Hey, you three! Follow us for a treat!
Lunar: Why should we follow you?
Draco: I will only follow if you give me ice cream afterwards!
Funneh: And potato chips!
Lunar: And maybe even Pringles for me!
Rainbow: There will be all of that junk food that you want! But you will only obtain it if you follow us down to the basement!
Lunar, Funneh & Draco: OK!
The two head babysitters were leading the three toddlers to the basement of the daycare. The further they went downstairs, the more Funneh and Draco started getting creeped out. They were the type of kid to be easily scared: especially by spiders! Lunar was the creepy sister, to be honest.
Once they arrived downstairs, even Lunar started getting creeped out. Which is practically impossible, seeing as she rarely (never) gets scared. Not even by monsters under her bed or by anything in general!
Funneh: Why are we down here?
Gold: Because we wanted to give you that treat.
Lunar: Oh. For a hot second, I thought you were trying to trick us...
Rainbow: Us, lie? Ha! We would never lie to adorable children like you three! You DESERVE a tiny gift after your bravery.
Draco: What bravery?
Funneh (stepping on Draco's foot and whispering to him): Draco, shut up! We are brave, so let the woman speak, dumbo!
Draco: Ow...
Gold: But before you do, we bought dolls just for you.
Rainbow: DON'T SHARE THEM WITH ANYONE. And especially, kids, DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE, EXCHANGE THEM. Not even with one another, sorry! It's just the rules.
Lunar: But we are family! And we share everything!
Funneh: Ya, what she said!
Draco: Plus, sharing is caring!
Gold's eyes started twitching so much that she was annoyed by these toddlers. Why had she accepted to do this job again?
Gold: Just take the dolls, we'll give you the food upstairs after during movie time.
Funneh, Lunar & Draco: YAY!
And then, they ran upstairs with the dolls they had been given. Once they were in the backyard on the swings, they noticed something weird about these dolls. They looked a lot like them... TOO MUCH to be a coincidence, they'd say. Lunar's doll had dark brown hair, green eyes, and was wearing all green, just like her brother, Draco. Draco's doll had blue hair, blue eyes, and was wearing all blue, just like his sister, Funneh. Funneh's doll had teal hair, grey eyes, and was wearing all purple, just like her sister, Lunar. What a strange coincidence, huh...
