Funneh was shocked. Was Lunar's theory correct? The dolls... Were they made by actual children?! Even if she could investigate a bit more into the matter, she heard Rainbow saying:
Rainbow: Alright, the 5 minutes are over! For all of the remaining hiders, you can all come out, now!
Funneh decided to keep her discovery a secret. She then left the room with her siblings without Rainbow finding out that they were in her study office (the forbidden room). After lunchtime, Funneh took Lunar and Draco's hands and rushed them off with her to the backyard, behind the daycare, where nobody could snitch on them. Especially not Sassy Sally, who is known in the daycare for being a snitch.
Funneh explained the paper she saw on Rainbow's desk in the forbidden room to her siblings, about the experiment, and how they were going to be the next targets turned into dolls.
Lunar: Maybe the dolls in the dollhouse are the previous test subjects, before us... And that we were given these dolls because they're going to take our souls and put them inside the dolls. Put our organs, our bodies, so if a kid ends up calling the police, police officers won't find anything and all daycares for the Kawaii Daycare business won't be shut down.
Draco: I- I don't wanna be turned into a doll!
Funneh: Neither do I! We have to escape this crazy daycare and tell our parents!
Lunar: But... We will need proof. And how will we even escape? Kawaii Daycare has two head babysitters, Mrs. Rainbow and Mrs. Gold! They are clearly aware of this insane business and are fine with it. The paper was on Rainbow's desk, right, Funneh?
Funneh nodded her head.
Lunar: So... We will need to start investigating.
Draco: But how?
Funneh: Maybe if we always hide in her office during hide 'n seek, every day?
Lunar: Yes! Great idea, Funneh!
Funneh (cocky): I know! I always have the best ideas!
The next day, Draco had found a pink uniform, that looked a bit like Rainbow and Gold's uniform, but in hot pink (Rainbow's was in baby pink, and Gold's, in baby blue) in the babysitter lounge, while Rainbow was drinking her coffee.
He asked her:
Draco: What is that uniform for?
Rainbow: You see, every six years, the CEO of Kawaii Daycare chooses someone to be the new boss.
Draco: And why are we, kids, not allowed to go on the second floor?
Rainbow: That, little Draco, is something I can't tell you. It's a secret! I made a pinky promise. And you know what they say! Always keep your pinky promises...
Rainbow went up to Draco and gave him a green bracelet. She said: « This bracelet will make sure that you don't get lost. DON'T TAKE IT OFF. Even if it itches, little boy. »
