Knee of The Titan

So I've been in the boiling isles for 2 months now and stuff has been rough. I meet Eda's owl beast, been banned from Hexside for now. I have gotten in several fights with the Witch Amity. But on the plus side I had been on good terms with her ever since I had given her my Azura book. I am friends with Willow and some what with Gus though he is really... REALLY annoying.
Today I am going to The Titan's Knee. Eda promised to take me there because she wanted me to get into Hexside, but I would need to know 2 glyphs to not get stuck in the baby class.
I didn't really have good winter material so I had just put on a casual long sleeve along with a sweatshirt. I had also put on a red beanie, and I just put fleece leggings on under my jeans. I wore some waterproof shoes and put on fingerless gloves.
Eda brought me to The Knee and I looked around. "This place looks really pretty..." I walked out a bit before seeing a big purple fireball heading my way, I started freaking out as I quickly fall to the ground with my hands on my head. I laid there for a little bit before seeing someone run up to me. It was Amity, she looked pretty in her winter jacket and earmuffs.
"Oh titan Luz! Are you alright?!" Amity truly looked worried for me, she didn't have to be worried... I was fine. The witch held out her hand, I flinched a little and she noticed. But before she could pull her hand away I grab it and pull myself up.
"I-i'm fine... Thanks..." I look down at Amity as she looked up at me, we were a couple inches away. The blush on her face was obvious but to be honest you really couldn't figure out if she was flustered or if she was just cold.
"Hey Mittens!!" Em and Ed both said in unison as they stood behind Amity. We both quickly moved away from each other. The twins had smirks on their faces, they really thought that we were doing some testy shit. I look away as I listen to all three of them talk before walking away and looking around.
I knelt down and made a snowball and holding it in my hand, it was cold... I walk over to a tree and slammed the ball on the tree, watching it explode from under my hand. I could hear Ed and Em teasing Amity but I just ignored it before walking further and further away from anyone. This place was peaceful, to peaceful... I knelt down and began making a big snowball, making a smaller one and stacking it on the other and finally making a smaller one and stacking it on both of the snowballs. I was planning on making a snowman, they were always fun to make. I walk over to a tree and break off two branches and stuck them in the middle snowball.
"You need a face..." I mumble before looking around to find something for the face. I grab a little twig and stuck it in the top snowball for the nose, then I grabbed some little stones and made the snowman smile. I step back and clenched my fists, with a weak smile on my face. "T-this looks like the ones Mami and I would make... heh... the last one was when I was 7..." I look at the snowman while saying that, I let out a little laugh before feeling hot tears run down my face. I didn't want to think about my mother, but it was hard not to. I sniffle and tried not to let out any noises before hearing someone, I take my hat off and rub my eyes and wiped the tears from my face. I can't look sad, not now... I put my hat back on and turned around to see that no one is there. False alarm... I sigh and look up at the sky. Something looked off about the stars though... wait...
I raised my hand at the sky and traced my fingers over the stars, it made a glyph! I quickly knelt down and drew the glyph in the snow and stepped on it, then suddenly an ice pillar shot up from the snow as I gasp. I learned a new glyph! The first person that goes to my head on who I should tell was Amity, then Eda. I quickly ran and followed my footsteps only to see Amity's wand laying there in half and seeing huge monster footsteps lead off to a cave.
I let out a stressful grunt before gathering my courage and following the monsters footsteps and into the cave where I saw Amity trying to free Ed, Em and Eda. But the monster had already spot her and was going to grab her.
"HEY!!! OVER HERE!!!" I yelled out as I let out a stressed grunt, the monster turned to me and caught my attention. I quickly drew the glyph in the snow and the monster began charging my way. I pressed my back against a tree and closed my eyes as I felt the wind fly past me as the monster was launched into the air. I let out a huge sigh and opened my eyes as I was physically shaking, but I didn't care at the moment. I ran to the four witches as Ed was loose and Amity was getting Em, I slide onto my knees and noticed that the goo was now hard. I looked at Amity who was freaking out before reaching into my pocket and pulling out a pocket knife. I used my teeth to take out the blade, I could tell that Amity and Ed where looking at me but I had pure concentration on my face. I hold the knife with two hands before jabbing it into the solid goi repeatedly, it finally got Eda loose and I went over to Em.
"L-Luz think about this! W-we could try something else!" Em said as she was worried that I was going to stab her, but before she could say anything else I jabbed the knife in the solid goo and with every strike Em screamed but I kept going. Soon later she was free and scared, I let out a sigh and put the blade back and put the knife back in my pocket before looking at the ground.
"Nice kid!" Eda said as she took off my hat only to ruffle my hair. I blushed lightly and pushed her hand away.
"E-Eda I said stop doing that!.." I looked at Eda then at Amity who was watching me with blush covering her face. Seeing her blushing only made me blush more as I looked away.
"Sorry kid, but your hair is just so fluffy!!" Eda replied and I snatched my hat away from her and put it back on. I walked out of the cave and Amity followed me...
"Hey Luz?..."
"Yeah?..."
"Before Ed, Em and Eda got captured... I followed you and I heard you talking to yourself... about you and your mom..." Amity hesitated a little before continuing. "So... what happened?.. you know... between you and your mom?..."
I take a deep breath and let it out before stopping in my tracks and sitting down on the snow.

"M-my Mom sent me to camp a year ago to try to change my childish behavior... but it didn't work... I didn't become any different or get any new friends.... she got angry with me and from that point on she would beat me just so that she could calm herself down..."
I noticed that Amity was sitting next to me with her hand over her mouth in shock, I couldn't help but give a little forceful chuckle before looking at my hands that were now shaking.
"My old school wouldn't help either... the kids at the school would listen to this girl named Amber who was the queen bee... no offense to the actual queen bee here... but she would tell the students to beat me and the teachers wouldn't do anything. So with that I would have bruises all along my body...."
I took my finger and traced down my body where the bruises are and were. Tears streamed down my face as I forced a smile on my face, the more I talked the more my voice would Crack and tremble.
"W-when we would go anywhere my mom would tell me to keep to myself... be quiet... have good posture.... smile... look happy... and say that everything was fine........ but the second day of school came around and that was the day that I decided to run away.. now I'm here and this has been... the best time I've ever had ever since I was 7... being friends with Gus...Willow...and even You... it makes me feel safe and wanted... And with Eda now bring my guardian I finally feel safe!... I don't need to hide and shy away from her when I need help... no like what I had to do with my mom..."
I finished talking and looked over at the Witch who had a frown on her face. She then hugged me which made me flinch but she kept me close, she felt bad. She hugged me close and I could feel her breath, it made me shiver but I slightly hugged back.
"Luz... whatever happens to you now... I'll be there... I won't let anything bad happen... I promise...."
Amity's voice, sounded kind, calm, peaceful... it was sweet to hear that she cared for me. Her voice sounded like how it did in my dream...

I think I'm falling for her....
