Home sick?... (Discontinuing story)

I slam the door behind me and pressed my back against the door, I gripped onto my hair and frowned. Why did I agree to that? Why did I even try out? I'm just going to get myself killed in the process, just like how I almost got killed just staying here instead of going back home. I slide down to the floor and curl up into a small ball. Why am I such an idiot? I hug my legs close to my chest and sit there, contemplating if I should have even participated in that.

I slowly stand up and feel like I'm going to fall over, everything is dizzy and moving. I place my hand against the wall and slowly calm myself back down again. The room slowly stopped spinning and everything went back to normal, act cool Luz... I open the door and walk out, I don't see anyone around, I don't even hear anyone. I walk out to the kitchen and see my note that I left for Eda... Shit that's right! I was going to go to the library after school! I rub my eyes lightly and walked out the front door, I walked to the library, and walked up the stares. God I can't believe that I forgot. I walk into the building and see several witches reading at a couple tables, even some witches checking out books. I breath in through my nose, Ah... I love the smell of books.

I look around and walked to a certain isle labeled magic, what a coincidence. I trace my fingers off of every book while reading the titles of them. Aha! I grab a book, even some other ones so that I have more variety. I walk over and look at some other books before coming across the kids area. I look inside and spot Amity right there, reading to children. I make a small noise and watched her around the corner, I could feel my face start to heat up.

As I kept watching I heard footsteps approaching, "Hey Luz!" It was the twins, they both talked in sync which I always thought was odd. I quickly dart my head to see Emira getting a piggy back ride from Edric, she probably won a bet or something like that.

"Uh... Hi.." Wow Luz, what a great way to greet someone. I sound like an idiot...

"What are you doing?" Emira asked

"I think she's spying on Mittens!" Edric replied for me

"I wasn't asking you" Emira said as she gave Edric a small hit on the head.

"Ow..." Edric said as he frowned.

I couldn't help but just stand there, awkwardly. I hug the books against my chest before hearing a witch talk behind me.

"Is Edric and Emira bugging you Luz?"

I quickly turn my head to see Amity standing there with her arms folded. I felt my face heat up more as I cleared my throat a bit. "N-No they weren't, I just happened to see that you were in there... and here you are.." I said in more of an awkward tone while hugging the books more, I even looked at the ground out of embarrassment. I look over and saw that Amity's face was as red as a Tomato, it was always cute seeing her like that.

"I-I see... well why are you here?" Amity asked while glancing at me, her arms slowly going down and she slowly started to mess with the bottom of her shirt.

"Oh just you know... doing some studies on glyphs.. like normal..." I spoke while looking Amity in the eyes, god is she pretty...

But I do have ideas for newer stories, and I can't wait to start writing them soon. Hopefully lol
