Part 3 (ʘᴗʘ✿)

Childe breakdancing in a table was not the weirdest even that will happen this day. Xiao makes his was to Dragonspine for his usual breakfast which was always snow. The frozen liquid froze his tongue. He liked it tho. There was something about the taste that he found attractive. Maybe it was all "mysterious" stains that added a odor to the snow or just the fact that it was water. Who knows.

Ten snow balls after. He makes his way to the top of a mountain. Just like venti, Xiao also had a place he liked to visit. It usually is where qingxin flowers bloomed. He could spend hours and hours just admiring the heart shaped leafs.

It had been a while since he ate so he felt a little hungry again. He started staring at the petals of the qingxin flowers. Without a warning, he starts munching on them. It tasted like licking curtains. Xiao munching on flowers is still not the weirdest thing that happens that day tho.

It all happened when he went to visit venti back in Windrise. In the way there he met xingqui again. It appears that Xingqui is everywhere at this point.

"Hey lover boy, how is everything going on for you?" -Xingqiu

"Uh good? Do you need anything?"-Xiao

"not really just passing by, bye bye" - Xingqiu

Xingqiu did a backflip and vanished. That was weird Xiao thought but didn't stick around to see if he would appear again. The walk to Windrise felt longer than other times. Maybe it was because he really wanted to see Venti. But it was actually because he had slime mucus on his feet. He never found out about it.

When he finally arrived to Windrise. He saw venti waiting and just as he thought, venti was drunk. Will there be a night when that bard isn't drunk.

"Hello darling, how is my kitten doing?" - venti

"Did diluc kick you out of the tavern again, you're here early" - Xiao

"Hehe yes he did"- Venti

There was something wrong tonight. Last night venti wasn't at his best but tonight it felt like he was worse than before. He sounded hurt, like he is holding some painful news (wink wink). It made Xiao worry a bit, but maybe it was just the alcohol.

They started talking like usually. Going over how their day was and all of that. Their conversations almost never had an specific topic, they just talked about anything that came to mind. But that was alright, as long as they had each other everything was perfect. Venti took a deep breath and stayed quiet for a minute. A very long minute for Xiao.

"What would happen the day I'm not here?.. " -Venti

"Hm? What do you mean"- Xiao

"You know, when I'm dead" -venti

It took a while for Xiao to respond to that. It really made him think about it and why was venti asking that.

"I don't know, but that won't happen any time sooner because you're a God"- Xiao

"hehe true.." - Venti

Everything went quiet again. Venti was lost in a train of thoughts while Xiao was a little worked up because of that question. Why did he say that? What does he mean? Is he going to die? No that can't be it. There is no way. He can't. Thought Xiao

The sound of the leafs was the only thing that could be heard. The cold wind that once used to feel nice on their skin now felt sad. The light of the moon brought an empty feeling to Xiao's stomach (spoiler alert, he ate the flower venti has on his hat, he starting to act like a goat.) Hi's heart was beating so fast he could barely hear his own thoughts.

"Hey don't look so sad, it was just a stupid question"- Venti
