Part 2 (˵ ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°˵)

Xiao felt a sudden wave of hear rushing through his body. He begin to question whether putting the cat ears on was a good idea.

"Awe, why are you trying to hide your face my love" said Venti who was still drunk.

"I'm not hiding nothing" Xiao said nervously trying his best not to mess up his words. (He failed ofc)

"Hehe oh really? Then let me see you're red face, I bet it went through the whole rainbow at this point"- Venti

Venti grabs Xiao's face quickly before the other could do anything. A smile flourished in Venti's face. They stood there, making eye contact with each other for a while. It was that bard that broke the silence.

"So that old sack of bones and flesh finally found someone huh" - Venti

"Apparently, he's a little annoying I have to say but at least he keeps Zhongli some company"- Xiao

"But I don't wanna talk about him, actually let's talk about how drunk you are right now. I told you to slow down with the alcohol" -Xiao

"Yes yes, but we're old anyway so I can drink as much as I want!" -Venti

"I wonder how that red hair doesn't run out wine with you going to his tavern every night" - Xiao

"Hahaha you know why I do this anyway so don't blame me" - said Venti with a less playful voice.

"Bro this fanfic is about my cat ears, don't make it about your dead friend again. Honestly this big flying lizard goes on a trip and you already start sulking about some bones underground" Said Xiao as he broke out of character.

"Right, but where did you get the ears? " - Venti

"I meet this guy called Xingqiu in Wangshu inn and he just gave them to me without an explanation" -Xiao

Venti starts getting closer to Xiao. His eye baggs were getting worse everyday. Xiao places him in a comfortable position on top of his chest. They stay talking for a while, not following a specific topic but it didn't matter to them. Venti fell asleep on top of Xiao's chest.
Xiao loved moments like this, when the world was quite and the light of the moon lights up the night sky. The cold wind felt nice on his body but there was nothing he loved more than the sight of his Venti as he slept. It was so peaceful (Xiao often have to check his chest to find out if the mf was still breathing form how still he was). He felt save at that moment, which is not a feeling he got to experience often.

Barbatos was woken up by the hot feeling of the sun as it gently melted on his pale skin. He looked around but there was nobody else but spider 5 inches from his face. It raised one of its furry legs to say hello. But in return, he got smashed to the tree by the crushing hand of Venti. It's entire life played like a movie. It had a wife (that ate all their kids but it doesn't know that yet shh). With that Venti got ready for yet another day.

*Jumping to Xiao's pov now*

He left before the sun rised. On his way to Wangshu inn, he came across the same guy who gave him the cat ears. Xingqiu smiled as he saw that Xiao still have them on.
"How did it go mister lover boy ;) "- xingqiu

" boy wtf and how do you know..."- Xiao

"I'm glad to hear it! You can keep them" and with that he left. Nobody know what goes through that boy's head. It was unusually noisy. A brain scratching voice could be heard in the background.

"C'mon Zhongli just once, I got this bunny outfit just for you" - childe

"Stop before I throw a meteorite at your face" - Zhongli

Xiao thankfully left before Childe started breakdancing on a table.
