Beep...Beep...BEEP!!!!!

The irritating beeping of the alarm rang through the room interrupting my slumber.

BEEP...BEEP...BEEP!!!!!

The beeping continued. I tried to ignore it by throwing a pillow at it, but even under the pillow, the muffled alarm continued its irritating song of the morning. Groaning with annoyance I stumbled my way out of bed to shut the alarm.

"Finally silence." I thought to myself before I plopped back into my bed, thus filling my head with an endless supply of scenarios that will never happen. Just as I was dozing back into a dreaming state of sleep the door burst open.

"WAKE UP ATE ITS TIME FOR YOU TO WAKE UP." A youthful and very annoying voice screamed throughout the room. I groaned because once again I was interrupted by a wonderful dream I had with Sebastian Stan and Tom Hiddleston.

"MOM SAID YOU HAVE TO WAKE UP ITS TIME FOR YOUR FIRST DAY BACK." She continued to poke, hit, and jump on me so I could wake up.

"There is no point for me to be excited because it's only sophomore year dumbass," I said throwing a pillow over my head.
"Um excuse me that's rude. I'm gonna tell mom you called me a dumbass and that you're not waking up." My eyes shot open making me leap out of bed.

"Hey we don't need to come to that c'mon Tamia there's no need," I said trying to ration with her, she crossed her arms not buying my bullshit.

"If you make my bed for a week I'll keep this between us."

This son of a bitch.

She raised her eyebrow at me waiting for a response. "Times ticking Ate you don't have much time till mom checks on y-"
"Alright alright fine just shut up about it ok." She nodded in approval then skipped her way out of my room. I don't know whether to be proud or scared of her, she's grown to be a menace to society.

I sighed looking at my closet full of bright pastels, browns, and white-colored clothes arranged in my way of Roy G Biv. I decided to be classy today and picked my brown corset with some brown dress pants and a white cardigan to add an accent color. If anything I just added a small gold chain bracelet that matched my dainty gold necklace that had a white flower in the center. I did my makeup light, adding come concealer under my eyes to hide the lack of sleep. After putting on blush and some neutral brown eyeshadow I topped it off with highlighter. I didn't have the energy to do my hair a cute style today so I just added some water and curl cream so it could just flow down my back in a controlled manner. I checked the mirror to see if I was socially acceptable and then I left.

I entered the kitchen only to be greeted by my mom cooking breakfast for Tami. "There she is, good morning Deliah." I smiled walking towards the table. "Morning Mom." I sat down at the table next to Tami.

"How was your sleep I hope you didn't stay up so late writing." I stayed silent as she placed a whole plate filled with spam, eggs, and rice. "It was ok I got to sleep at least, but I'm just stuck I know I'm missing something in my story but I don't know what."

"Well, what is it about?" Tamia asked chewing on her bacon.

"It's about two teens who are assigned to kill each other but they fall in love."

Her eyes widened, "Woah deep." I chuckled, "I know."

"Well, maybe it's also got to do with the fact that you don't know what love is." Mom said still cooking at the stove. I stayed quiet finishing the food on my plate. "Right," I said quietly as I got out of my chair to put my plate in the sink. She didn't seem to notice my reaction which made her respond by saying, " Make sure you take Tamimi to the bus."
