!!Blood, Violence!!Sapnap didn't know what he was expecting when he'd entered The End, but it certainly wasn't this. He heard gasps and noises of awe of confusion from around him, but couldn't help but just be confused.
After the ten minutes for Karl was up, Sapnap had sent the message and him and Quackity ram for the mountain. They found the secret tunnel that Dream and Karl must've used and followed it into the portal room.
Everyone was there already. Phil had advised everyone to be careful as they entered, and they all listened- even Tommy. Techno had told them to expect great enemies, they listened as well.
Unreality had told them to expect a traitor, they all listened to that as well.
But as they were standing in the forbidden realm now, Sapnap couldn't help but wonder why it was forbidden. There was nothing in the sky, and there were no sounds coming from the island.
So, he and Quackity led the group up the steps with their weapons drawn without realizing it, and they weren't prepared for what they saw next. Oh, they were all definitely not prepared.
There were the pillars, sure, but beams of light streamed off the tops and into a gigantic dragon curled over the fountain, seemingly sleeping, with a broken familiar mask a few blocks away.
And in front of them, a few blocks away, Sapnap and Quackity cried out at the sight.
There was a lump of black and red stained fabric that wasn't moving, they jumped forward and yelled, "Karl!" Worriedly, alarming everyone behind them.
The couple ran forward and slid beside their unmoving lover. Sapnap nearly sobbed at the sight of Karl's all-too pale skin and his closed eyes. Quackity was nearly sick at the sight of the large pool of blood and knife in his stomach.
Sapnap grabbed Karl's outstretched wrist and felt around, mumbling, "Come on, come on, come on, come on." As he tried to find, eventually picking up on the faintest pulse he'd ever felt.
"He's barely alive." He told to Quackity before checking his own bag. He had no regen potions, only bandages and healing ones, so they'd have to do. "Hold on." Quackity said before looking in Karl's bag, a few seconds later, he pulled out a large vial of a regeneration potion.
So they worked, Quackity had helped Karl drink the potion as Sapnap pulled the knife out and tossed it away. The wound immediately stopped bleeding as the healing potion took effect.
Quackity than helped Karl drink the Regen potion, and the effects of that one were quick as normal. The colour returned to their lover's skin and his pulse started to strengthen.
The sighed with relief as Sapnap began wrapping the bandages around the wound. He was almost finished, when a sword was held to his chin.
"Sapnap." Sam spoke calmly, "Step away from the criminal." Sapnap was appalled at Sam's words. "Sam, he's dying." Sapnap pointed out, Sam's eyes narrowed as he gestured for him to move away.
Sapnap hissed, but obeyed anyway and went to stand next to Quackity, who had a distant look in his eye and was standing next to a guard, as they watched Unreality scoff at Karl. Unreality and his battalion stepped over the unconscious human, causing the SMP members to glare.
Sapnap grabbed Quackity's hand and his cheek and shook him gently as he stared worriedly into his eyes. When Quackity soon began blinking rapidly as he shook his head and mumbled "Wha- What happened?", Sapnap exhaled with relief, the distant, glassy stare was gone.
When Sam wasn't looking, Sapnap and Quackity snuck back over. He silently thanked the others as they didn't rat him out but watched him. Techno even slipped him a golden apple.
