Chapter 6: We meet again

Techno's POV

I went to the library. It took almost day and night to look for clues and hints but I still can't find it.

"I still haven't found any clue, It always ends in a dead end". I groaned but I still kept on trying.

(An hour later passed)

I still couldn't find anything, I sighed and said "I should go check Wilbur to see if he has any clues for the cure" I went to Wilbur's room and knocked on his door "Can I come in?" I waited for him to respond. After a few seconds, he responded "Yes, come in." and I went in. All I see in his room was full of books and spells and when I look at him, I can tell he hasn't slept for days. I could even see his eyebags. "Trouble sleeping?" I said while I crossed my arm and tilted my head "Just leave me alone for a while I'm busy" I sighed "I've been worried about your bad habits lately ever since..."

No one's POV

Wilbur stood up and grabbed Technos collar shirt "DON'T YOU EVER MENTIONED THAT DAY!." he gripped it hard with anger and Techno got surprised by his reaction "Woah! Calm down Wil". Wilbur realized what he did, and he let go of Techno's collar shirt and apologized "I uh sorry..." "I didn't mean to..." he cried and Techno comforted him.

"It's alright" Techno helped Wilbur to stand and said "Hey, how about we go to the town so we can freshen up our minds and we can look at some ancient scrolls, books there" Wilbur agreed to go. They informed their father that they are going to town and their father agreed.

Tommy's POV

XD and I are going to the town to let us have fun but XD doesn't seem like he's going to have fun. He doesn't look like a town person for the way he sounds like "I will decline".

When we got to the town it was the complete opposite.

He was like running around and looking at the shops,

"Woah! Theseus you didn't tell this town was amazing" XD was enjoying. I sighed and laughed, for the moment I thought we're gonna have an awkward situation when we get to the town but I was taken back by my words.

We went to the play on the plaza to watch and XD was enjoying it, but the play was making me yawn. After the play ended we went to buy things that we needed. "Hey let's meet up at the fountain after we buy the things that we want" XD agrees so we split up.

I went to the weapon shop to buy a dagger for protection and to prove to Sam and Ranboo that I can protect myself. After I bought the dagger, I realized something that I had almost forgotten.

"Oh, right I'm gonna buy something for Ranboo as an apology gift of what the things I said to him" he sighed 'but what will be the gift' I thought to myself and I have a perfect Idea, I was about to go the Magic Bookstore to buy Ranboo magic and antimagic book to apologize to him but suddenly someone grabs my shoulder and turn around and my eyes widened to see my brothers.

Wilbur's POV

Me and Techno went to the town to clear out our minds and he was right it did clear out my mind on the situation. We went to the theater play and it was good and I saw Techno interest as well after it was finished everyone clapped so did we.

After going through the food stalls. Techno tapped my shoulders and pointed in a direction. It was a bit of a blur. I adjust my sight and see that familiar cloak. "Wait... isn't that the gremlin thief last night?" I looked at Techno and he nodded "It's Theseus", I got an idea "Wanna go with me to follow him and confront him about my money" I asked Techno and nodded on the plan. We began to follow the gremlin through distance and It was time to confront him. I looked at Techno and he knew exactly what I'm gonna do.
