01: THE GREAT ESCAPE
If Noah had to describe Mason in two words. He would choose the words hella hot because hot damn was Noah hella hot. Like he was gorgeous (in a manly way, of course). He was so hot that Noah thought he needed some medical attention. He was surprised that he was even able to utter a word to him without getting blinded by the sheer hotness that was Mason. Noah sat there trying to control his breathing when the two cops parked the car in the parking lot of a Dunkin' Donuts.
"We're going to get some coffee so don't go anywhere"
Yeah, like we're going to go anywhere in handcuffs inside a locked door. Don't be stupid Noah thought as he rolled his eyes. As the cops got out of the car and into the store, Mason turned to him.
"Do you want to break the window and sneak out of here?" he said with the most serious expression. Noah being the only rational minded person in the car did what any other rational person would do. He started laughing. He would have kept laughing but Mason's serious expression made him realize that he was being serious.
"Oh wait you're serious? Are you fudging crazy? How the hell would we even hypothetically speaking get out anyway?" Before Noah could finish his rant, he saw that Mason had taken off his handcuffs. "What? How? But..."
"I got two words for you. Magic camp."
"Yeah but how are we going to get out genius. The cops locked the door."
"That is where these handcuffs come in handy," Mason said as he smashed the window with the handcuffs. After removing the excess glass Mason wiggled himself out the window. "You coming? I'll catch you if you fall."
"Yeah wait" Noah said surprised at how calm and collected he sounded when on the inside he was trying to control his inner fan girl from having heart attack at what Mason said.
After wiggling out of the window (and almost landing on Mason), the two heard the foot steps coming toward their direction and then they heard the cop's voices (which almost caused Noah to have yet another panic attack). They crouched down and slowly started walking away before the cops could realize anything.
"Now what?" Noah asked Mason as soon as they were far from the cop car.
"First, I have to take off your handcuffs. Second, we hide from the cops for as long as possible," Mason replied as he took the handcuffs off of Noah (Noah of course trying to once again control his inner fan girl). "So quick question"
"What?"
"Know anyplace we can hide out in until tomorrow other than out apartments?"
"Yeah. I don't think my friend, Lila, would mind."
"Oh I almost forgot. I'm Mason." Mason said sticking his hand out.
Shaking his hand out, Noah replied, "I'm Noah"
So I realize how sucky this chapter is (as I finish writing it at 11 pm). But I hope you guys enjoyed Noah's pov. Part two of chapter one will be in Mason's pov (which I'll try and update sometime this week [fingers crossed]). This chapter is dedicated to books-and-bowties for being a hella awesome fan of neighbors. Until the next update, peace out.
